We engaged CDC (Robin and Delphine) to turn 2 redundant farm buildings in a Conservation Area into our retirement home. There were challenges to align our requirements with what the District Council would accept, but CDC's imagination and persistence has led to a unique home that more than meets our expectations and fits into its surroundings. Throughout the project Robin and Delphine have maintained an eye for detail and a real interest in our requirements. 3 months in and we are VERY house proud!

Delphine and her team did an excellent job on the extensions and renovation of my Victorian Villa in Central Cambridge. She saw the project through from designing the extension to completing the building works. Her ability to see the potential of the space enabled a final design far beyond my initial expectations. The designs she generated are sympathetic to the original features of the house whilst also providing expanded living space and light. At the building stage Delphine acted as project manager and liaised extensively with the builders (camstone construction). She kept the momentum of the project going even through the site being shutdown due to the COVID-19 lockdown. I couldn't be happier with the final results.

Chadwick Dryer Clarke designed and project managed a loft conversion for our Cambridge home. At the time we were living in Paris which could have made the whole process very difficult but the architect was brilliant and managed the project really well. I felt we were really listened to and our tastes and preferences were taken into account and we were consulted at every stage of the build. I would happily recommend them to design and manage any project that you may have.

Delphine and her team at CDC were fantastic from start to finish. Our job was a total renovation and extension of a Victorian semi which had little work done to it since the 1950's. Delphine had some great ideas that we would never have thought about, and we are bowled over by the end results that create space, light, and allow us to live in a modern house while being sympathetic in areas to the original period. We are glad we had Delphine behind us on an ongoing basis managing aspects of planning, building control and builder contracts – we literally could not have done it without her and are really appreciative of her proactivity and calm nature.

Delphine transformed our dated and dreary kitchen in our previous house into a beautifully and naturally-lit, contemporary space by the clever use of raised roof lights and oversized sliding doors. From the very first meeting and sets of potential drawings we felt Delphine completely understood our requirements and tastes in design. We were absolutely thrilled with the result - so much so that we have just embarked on an even more ambitious project with Delphine as our architect, in our new home. We would recommend Chadwick Dryer Clarke studio very highly indeed.

I can only recommend Delphine and the team. They converted our Edwardian home into a modern and welcoming one. From design brief, all the way through to the project management and completion of the project. Sometimes there was a little friction between architect and client, but I can honestly say that Delphine always got it right. Always trust the expert!

We were both incredibly lucky and grateful for finding Delphine and her talented team who produced an exceptional design for our house extension project (1930‘S 3 bed semi: adding an open plan kitchen diner extension, a loft en-suite room, and opening up the hallway by moving the stairs). The final outcome is a truly lovely home to live in, with thoughtful spaces and light throughout, and has given us a wonderful 4 bedroom family home to entertain in and be proud of. She helped steer us through the project, even finding a great builder when our original plans changed and was responsive and generous with her time when we had questions or needed advice. Would recommend in an instant!

Clennell Collingwood

We have an 1850s cottage, which had been extended a number of times previously, and were struggling to work out how to add an extra bedroom. That was until we met Delphine, who came up with a number of concepts that unlocked the problem. Once we had decided on a direction, Delphine went into the detail and, when we added new requirements, was unfailingly able to accommodate (with a smile!). We are very happy with the new layout.

I have had the pleasure of working with ChadwickDryerClarke for quite a few years now. They are an excellent practice to collaborate with. As a photographer I look forward to each shoot, as I know that it will be an enjoyable experience as they are friendly and easy to work with. The work they do is excellent and offers plenty of opportunity to capture interesting and beautiful photographs. I would highly recommend working with them and look forward to more collaborations in the future!

Delphine came up with a design that exceeded our expectations. I thought there weren't too many options for the work to our house and that I could predict what would be proposed (for two other architects we approached this was the case), but Delphine came up with a scheme that maximised the use of our plot, meeting and exceeding what we had hoped for from the house, and all with a stunning design. It did come at a price, but we couldn't be happier.
