We used Cooper & MacGregor to co-ordinate the renovation of a rental property for us in Aberdeen last year. Angela guided us through the initial ideas stage and coordinated the relevant planning/warrants, her advice and guidance allowed us to maximize the space and select the best products (the most energy efficient heating system, insulation etc.) to give us a flat which complies and exceeds the requirements for the modern rental market. The flat has been transformed, very pleased.

Building extension. Visited house, measured up, designed type of building, provided drawings for building & applied for planning permission. Submitted all drawings & dealt with all aspects of planning procedures. Provided a great service throughout the term of the build including applying for completion certificates etc. A first class service was provided from start to finish.

My previous Architect let me down but Angela managed to take my "plans' on board, have them turned around and re-submitted to Aberdeenshire Council very quickly indeed. I cannot fault her expertise and knowledge in the field and would not hesitate in using her again for any future work.

We purchased our new house recently which required an extensive re-work and re-design. The work required planning permission and changes to the internal structure of the entire ground and first floor, and having no previous experience or knowledge in what to do, we looked around for an architect to manage the whole process for us. They provided an excellent service and handled all requirements for us (inc all building, planning permission pieces etc), providing great advice on the best way to re-structure the rooms, always keeping us up to date and taking the time to talk through what was happening with us / being on call to help with any questions we had. We hired Cooper & MacGregor Design Solutions to handle the the design / planning application and building warrant for our large multi-purpose workshop and garage. They have exceeded our expectations regarding what was required of them. Nothing was too much trouble and the job was done on time and in under budget. Truly professional and customer focused.
