Andy has designed us an extension and reconfiguration to our ground floor to create a new kitchen/diner/living room and move the sitting room into where the old kitchen/diner was. The new extension will be highly visible to our neighbours and passers-by when built, so Andy has had to produce a design that works well on a number of fronts. He has been very attentive to our needs and wants and our immediate neighbours have complimented the design. We’re very much looking forward to getting it built.

Andy designed a single story extension and reconfigured our ground floor layout in a way that we could never have dreamed up. From the initial enquiry through to the planning stage Andy has been extremely prompt to reply to all our queries, and with amendments to the plans. Unlike other architects we initially spoke to, Andy asked us about our future plans to ensure the extension would be future proofed to both our current and envisioned lifestyle. Great service provided by Andy at Design AI. From the initial consultation where Andy spent time finding out what we wanted to achieve with our build, through the detailed planning stage, which had to take place during lockdown at a distance, and full planning submission and building regs diagrams, Andy was highly profesional throughout. He brought ideas to the table and merged them with our thoughts to produce an end product that was the best possible outcome for us. He showed wide experience and knowledge and when a survey showed we had bats in our roof space, something he had not experienced before, he worked seamlessly with the ecologist to get the necessary paperwork to the council for the planning submission.

We were recommended to use Design AI from two of our neighbouring houses that had recently undergone extension/upgrades on their homes. Thank goodness we did as the inspirational and 'thinking outside the box' ideas Design AI put to us have now allowed us to start on the road to creating our perfect home! Right from day one, the service provided was professional, very efficient and honest - there were always solutions if something we wished to do was not quite right or possible and the ideas to overcome those wishes were always much better than what we had originally thought of! The plans always came back exactly as discussed and Design AI were always willing to make small alterations if and where we had a change of thought process. Design AI submit the plans to Planning and pick up any queries that may come up as a result of that submission, again, another part of the service provided that is excellent! We are now looking forward to starting the work on our house in the summer. We wanted a single storey rear extension that wrapped around the house and also put a utility and shower room into part of the garage. Having this level of work done to our home was completely new to us and was quite daunting. However, with help from Design AI Ltd, we were able to understand the process at each step. We have been working with Andy on our home improvement plans. From the beginning, he has been a pleasure to work with.
