At Design Work Studios we design environments that enhance the physical, emotional, and social human experience - in short, Wellness within Architecture. We are highly regarded for creating the most innovative and creative designs and builds. We are better known, however, for creating spaces that meet the brief financially, and above all, with our client’s bespoke interpretation of wellness at the centre of our designs, especially in recent times, as we begin to live differently in the spaces we inhabit. I would not recommend. Started off well but they were not able to deliver all the services. e.g Planning consultant left the firm and was not replaced. In the end we had to use other firms to deliver the full scope of services. Update: I am confused by your reply given that we discussed this on the phone, by email and in person. Your reply confirms my thoughts about Design Work Studios Ltd. We were not able to continue with you as hoped through the various stages of the project as originally hoped. Having procured services (including planning advice) from others we are pleased that we switched when we did.

Thank you for feedback Richard. Regrettably our planning consultant did leave midway through the process. However our scope of services outlines that we will submit and manage the application in house; which our design team are more than qualified to do. And did so successfully for your project.
We are confused to hear that you feel we did not fulfil some elements of your scope of services, could you please identify those and if we have left anything out we will of course happily supply them.

A fantastic job from start to finish by both Design Work Studios, and the builder they recommended. From the start of the project, the mantra has been “Please make it look exactly like the design picture..” - and it looks almost exactly like the picture, but with a few improvements where DWS suggested some tweaks. We have been in the house for over 15 years and have dreamed of doing this work since we moved in. It is now a reality and we couldn’t be happier with the outcome. Very happy to recommend Tom and the rest of the DWS team to anyone. Thank you.

Tom was an absolute lifesaver when we began our home renovations. He quickly costed up everything for us, broke down our scope of work in a way we could easily understand, helped us sort the must-haves from the nice-to-haves, and as a result we ended up spending about half the amount we'd originally been quoted by another company! We'd have been completely lost without his reassuring, patient help and guidance. Would thoroughly recommend.

The guys have been a huge help to us through a very difficult planning process. Even before that, we found their enthusiasm and obvious enjoyment of the work infectious. Their willingness to listen and consider our ideas whilst advising, and making suggestions without ever making us feel like the rank amateurs we are is a real credit to them as well! I can't recommend them highly enough and we have re-engaged them to work on a much bigger project with us in 2019.
