Emerald Architects produced archtectual and building reguilation plans for a single storey extention dining/kitchen extention to our four bedroom semi. Siobhan met our brief for the internal layout very quickly. We were really impressed with her advice and ideas in this area. Ciaran undertook measurements and prepared most of the technical drawings - these met all of the nessisary requirements. Comminication with Ciaran was always very prmpt and helpful. We have worked with Emerald Arcitects for 5 years as main contractors to some of their clients based in the North East of England. Whilst we are currently extending a mid century modern house, our most recently completed project with them was a barn conversion to a holiday let which involved green enery tech such as underfloor heating, solar panels and harnessing power from a wind turbine. The client's brief was to have the most energy efficient build possible within a 10 month timeframe. Emerald and ourselves worked hard to achieve this and ultimately the project was awarded an A rating for energy efficiency - exceeding the client's expectations. As well as bringing a wealth of architectural experience and a confident, professional approach, Siobhan and Ciaran also bring wit and warmth to a project, making working with them a real pleasure. Siobhan and Ciaran mediate the client/ contractor / architect relationship with huge integrity, instilling confidence in all parties and making the project a positive experience for everybody involved. They regularly visit site to monitor progress and are always available for discussion. We have found Emerald open to suggestions and highly proactive and practical in their approach to tackling potential building issues which makes our work so much easier. We can't recommend Emerald highly enough - we have huge confidence in them and look forward to many more sucessful projects and happy clients.

Emerald Architects are a marvellous team with complimentary skill sets who deliver a fantastic result together. My wife and I engaged Siobhan and Ciaran to renovate and convert an old farm building into a Green Energy Holiday Cottage.
