I have provided structural engineering services for Anita’s architectural designs for many years and on a number of challenging schemes, both residential and commercial. I find her excellent to work with. She creates some great looking properties, especially incorporating contemporary features into old buildings, such as glass and free form, that enhance both the aesthetics and the continued use of the building. She works very closely with other design consultants to bring together the whole project design, produces excellent construction details that work on site and manages construction contracts to ensure that the project is built according to the desired design intent. Fabric Space transformed our 3-bed semi into a 5 bedroom house with spacious open plan receptions and kitchen. We remodelled and extended to the side and rear and Fabric Space worked closely with us and our builder to bring the project to fruition. Fabric Space designed both the architecture and interiors, including stunning joinery pieces. When we took over a new office space in Covent Garden which needed architectural as well as interior input, we didn't tender out the work to anyone else as there was only one practice to go to...Fabric Space.
