Greenway Associates is an architectural design practice specialising in innovative and versatile homes for our clients. I am passionate about design and helping people transform their houses from Ugly Ducklings to beautiful swans. With 28 years experience, our main aim is to transform lives with our architectural work. Wayne Greenway, director, puts professionalism, quality and efficiency at the top of his priorities. I am known for going the extra mile as stated in some of the Houzz reviews. I bring the Caribbean sunshine into the architecture. Wayne's love for building work came from a small childhood obsession with Lego! Now his toys are just a little bigger and he still gets the same thrill out of creating something innovative, stylish and entirely suited to his clients (though arguably with less bright yellow bricks!). Eight years ago, after being employed for 20 years, I had an epiphany and said, I can do it on my own - I can do it on my own - I can do it on my own! So, I did. Wayne is an excellent communicator with the ability to work with you to create a home you'll love to live in. transforming the social hub of the home , i.e. the kitchen, the dining and the living rooms as well as developing strategies for ensuring delivery of relevant projects against targets and deadlines. I love helping people and wanting to see the smile on their faces. Our team works tirelessly with you from start to finish, securing permissions, creating your drawings and project managing your whole process until the completion of your build.

Wayne and his colleagues at Greenway Associates are great to work with and we have already personally recommended their services to friends. From the outset we were impressed with Wayne's clarity of communication and found him very easy to work with, giving us a great deal of confidence because we knew our project was in good hands. We asked him to plan our rear kitchen extension and external decking, and his advice on the designs and guidance throughout the planning process has been crucial and greatly appreciated. He is always approachable and responsive and has put a great deal of energy into the project.

I had an idea in my head of what I wanted but Wayne really brought it to life. He gave ideas and really listened to what I had in mind. He even challenged some of my thinking and suggested things I did not even consider. He is a professional, easy to talk to no question was insignificant. Wayne made himself available for all my questions via email, and telephone. During the build he came to check that everything was going to plan too. I highly recommend Wayne.

I used Greenway Associates for the remodeling of my property. Initially I hired Greenway Associates to handle the planning permission and building controls. However I also subsequently employed his services on design coordination. I was very pleased with Wayne's work and found him to be very knowledgeable, professional and flexible. I started off with very limited knowledge on many of the things that I needed to get this done. But he was very ready to respond to all my questions and shared with me materials that were very useful. What I appreciated most were the fact that Wayne was very happy to listen to my ideas first even if I changed my mind in the end and was patient with making sure that I had all the space to consider the drawings before moving to the next steps. He did not mind being consulted on any matters related to the project where he had knowledge even if it was not on planning and building controls and I have valued this aspect of his business ethos very much.

Wayne is a real joy to work with. We contacted him for what was initially a side extension. He's very professional and enthusiastic and of great help. After the site visit and a subsequent site visit by one of his associates, we got the really good suggestion to go for loft conversion instead. Wayne adapted the plans quickly and several suggestions were available. He also handles our planning application and due to his experience, has already anticipated potential pitfalls and put us in touch with the relevant people to look at i.e. sprinkler systems etc. We really value our work with Wayne and are really happy with his work! Our project is at the council at present and Wayne has smoothed the way for that, even with our changes of mind and adaptations we wanted to make. I wouldn't hesitate to hire Wayne again and will also recommend him to anyone with a building project!

We employed Greenaway Associates to provide drawings for a two storey side extension and to present to local council to obtain full planning permission for this project . After our first sight meeting it was clear that Wayne and his team are very professional outfit offering some very knowledgeable advice helping towards the build. Very respectful throughout. Available for telephone conversations, replied as soon as could if busy. Explained designs when contacted and amended plans when asked. This took a while but they did ensure there was no extra work for the structural engineer which was important. Very helpful as regards dealing with Buldings control. Good advice about purchasing and interior design which was given despite being beyond remit.

I commissioned Greenway Associates to produce the plans for submission to the council for a single storey extension to our property. Wayne attended the site and provided a great deal of useful advice about what was possible in the size of the extension we were proposing. He was extremely thorough with his scoping work, and he produced excellent plans. He also produced building regulation plans, as well as plans for building over a public sewer. I would recommend Greenway Associates as a professional and good value architect service.

Wayne came and discussed our ideas for a kitchen/dining room extension. He came up with ideas and suggestions, his designer then came along to take exact measurements and produced 2 alternative designs which were able to study and discuss with him. Wayne then drew up plans and sent the detailed designs to us. The final design/plan was a hybrid of the two. Wayne was always willing to listen to our suggestions and happy to change things until we were happy with the final plans. He then submitted these plans to the Council and we were successful in our application, our previous plans had been turned down. This is as far as we've got so far. We are happy with the service received and very happy that the plans have now gone through.

Mr. Wayne Greenway helped us to make our maisonette a modern home. He made a design, got all permissions and did the paperwork, recommended brands and people and managed the whole project. With regards to permissions and paperwork, we had no worries whatsoever, as Wayne did everything for us. During the build, Wayne was always open to suggestions, gave helpful advice and solved issues. Mr Greenway took our measurements and photographs along with our existing plan and created a visual 3D image of what the house would look like when it was finished; he then advised on on the best materials to use for durability and to get the effect the we needed. I would definitely recommend this company

We were looking for an Architect that can design our extension to our needs and liaise with all the statutory bodies. When I contacted Wayne he came to discuss our project in days and turned our dream into design in a matter of weeks. I am a carpenter myself who does complete refurbishments, so I had a pretty good understanding of how and what we are going to build, but his extensive knowledge helped highlighting issues that we missed and perfected the design to its absolute potential. He dealt with Building Control, Thames Water and Planning and pushed our plans through restlessly until we obtained the planning permission. We have been very happy with his service and expertise and We would highly recommend Greenway Associates or use them in the future.
