I couldn’t recommend Hunter enough, he’s professional, knowledgeable, called when he said he would and kept me updated throughout the whole process. He also liaised with my structural engineer and builder to make sure they were all on the same page. I had used another architect prior on the same project who informed me that the local council did not accept my rear dormer because it was too wide. Hunter then took over and provided the council with evidence that other wider dormers in the surrounding streets had been accepted, and within 6 weeks, I had planning accepted for a wider dormer which allowed me to position the new staircase exactly where I wanted.

Trust this guy, I did and I am more than pleased with his work and the results. It’s one less thing to worry about! Definitely use and I cannot recommend highly enough. I only had a loft conversion to do. I did my research and got a quote from Hunter. I used this detail to check other Architects. Others may have given me cheaper quotes but when you probe them on the details the cost escalates and you end up with more questions than answers. He is very approachable and did not bombard me with technical jargon. He kept it simple to get the results I wanted, and he prepared thorough planning and building regs applications to secure approval for my loft. At every stage he explained what we needed to do to get what I wanted. I was happy with all his recommendations after my views were discussed. More over all the issues that you hear about, can and did crop up. He helped me resolve them. He chased the people he needed to and kept me in the loop. He also gave me invaluable advice on other issues of the project that I had not anticipated. Job done, thanks Hunter.
