JFD offers a range of architectural styles, specialising in contemporary architecture and micro homes. Our vast experience has enabled us to master both traditional detailing alongside bespoke contemporary detailing requirements. We want our future clients to see our full capabilities, and we don't believe in showing just finished photographs. There is an entire build process involved with every project, and we believe there is beauty in construction. Within our portfolio, you will see projects that are under construction as well as complete, helping you gain a fuller understanding of what is required to create the spaces you desire
James is an international multi-award-winning designer, with his work receiving accreditation throughout Europe America and Asia. His success has seen him present TEDx talks to over 1200 paying visitors as well as securing resident talks and Grand Designs Live and The Ideal Homes Show. Featured several times on ITV News, London Live News, and BBC Radio stations, James' public architectural profile is of high demand and continuing to grow.
James has worked to create a name for himself within the architectural industry. Due to his international success, James was invited to act as a member of the Judging panel for the International 'WAN Awards, (World Architectural News), for the Small Spaces Category. One of five elite industry individuals, James was chosen to judge following the showcasing of his work worldwide.
James will often chair talks on the Grand Theatre at the Grand Designs Live show and can be seen presented design talks on the Ideal homes Show Main Stage and expert hubs, alongside industry celebrities, such as Georgina Burnett, Oliver Heath, Joe Swift & Kunle Barker. He has also featured heavily on the news discussing his projects which intend to help shelter the homeless, along with many online and guest magazine articles. Still very active within the industry, James is currently working on various new homeless shelter designs, that have been internationally acclaimed.
