As a consultancy, we have worked with the team at JLK for a number of years, on a variety of commercial and residential projects. We have always found them knowledgeable with an informed awareness of all aspects of a building. We find their projects to be well detailed and as a team are friendly and easy to work with.

I was introduced to JLK Architectural Design via a business colleague. From the outset I found Julia knowledgeable, friendly and approachable. Her ongoing advice and assistance helped us to crystallise our design options and save us time on pursuing more costly options. As a package I was impressed that the service included architectural drawings and submission of a planning application on our behalf. Her attention to detail and timing were on point. It's a shame we're not undertaking any further work as I'd have no hesitation in utilising JLK's services again. So the million dollar question is would I recommend JLK Architectural Design. Absolutely!

Cannot recommend JLk Architectural design enough. Julia was approachable and efficient throughout our loft conversion project. Any issues we experienced were dealt with swiftly and professionally. We felt integrated and involved throughout the whole process. The initial designs were very impressive and Julia worked with is to make the alterations we required. We were originally denied planning permission and Julia appealed on our behalf and permission was then granted. The company organised legalities and liaised with the council on our behalf which took the stress away from the project. JLK were recommended to us when we were starting to look into building a rear kitchen/diner extension to the house. This was the first time we had ever employed an architect, so we didn’t really know what to expect, but Julia and Tarnya were brilliant. Julia from JLK Architectural Design LLP helped us with RIBA work stage 0-3 and stage 4 technical design drawings for a recent project where we converted an empty & dilapidated Victorian office building into a few high end apartments in the city centre of Nottingham. From day 1, her quotations were professionally presented, very clear and easy to understand. Throughout the project, she was very responsive, friendly yet professional. What I found very value-adding was the fact she was able to offer expert guidance on a range of matters and she recommended a number of reliable experts, such as acoustic engineer, EPC specialists, etc, which helped ensure a smooth execution of the project.
