About Us

We are a design-led RIBA architecture and interiors practice based in Central London. We are committed to the delivery of well-conceived and thoughtfully detailed architecture. Our projects cover all scales of development and building types, creating spaces to live, work and learn. Our projects include new buildings, extensions to existing buildings and refurbishments at all scales. We believe that architecture should tap into each projects latent potential to foster positive change. All of our projects are tailored to the specific needs of each of our clients. Our process is collaborative, where we listen to our clients and also add unexpected value through creative design. We recognise the critical role that the built environment plays in reducing our carbon footprint. Sustainable design aims to reduce our energy consumption, reduce carbon footprint and create a healthier, more resilient space for it occupants. We use best practice guidelines for sustainable design and we can design in accordance with BREEAM or Passivhaus principles.

Working with Mirsad was an education and a joy! A brilliant architect and in no small part: project manager, counsellor and friend, he was helpful and considerate throughout, arranging frequent online meetings and regular visits to our site. At every stage of the project, from conception to completion, he was by our side, providing info and ideas that helped us navigate the vast array of options, choices and hiccups: when any problems arose he was approachable, accessible and quick to offer guidance and support, liaising with the various teams working on the build, reassuring us that everything would work out in the end - and so it proved. Our kitchen extension rebuild has completely transformed our experience of living in the flat - we love it - walking in on a morning, seeing the vast expanse of the glass and warm toned wood, looking out onto the garden and hearing the birds sing is a total delight. Thank you for everything, we hope to work with you again in future!

KAS architects and in particular Mirsad were able to communicate effectively their vision upfront. Throughout the project Mirsad was very practical with his help. He understood the various practical constraints in achieving the desired outcome and was able to provide solutions accordingly. All the drawings and the various help that we needed throughout the project was provided quickly and on time.

Kas Architects helped us enormously when we wanted to convert our 1 bedroom flat into a 2 bedroom. It was way more complicated than that sounds and involved redesigning the kitchen and bathroom, knocking through a new window and then finding a solution for 2 bedrooms. Kas Architects had the creativity and vision to achieve exactly what we wanted. They always produced several options for each situation and we could talk at length to fine tune until we were all happy. They were also on top of our local authority making sure the planning process went smoothly.

KAS architects and Mirsad in particular have been amazing in supporting in the extension of our primary residence. They got planning approved in a sensitive mews location and conservation area very quickly. Mirsad is always available to answer even the most trivial questions and the quality of his work meant that we got our designs approved by all stakeholders in record time including comments from the council stating the high quality of the work. I couldn’t recommend KAS highly enough.

Mirsad at KAS Architects was extremely professional and friendly during every step of the process. He listened very carefully and seemed to calmly take in all the requests my wife and I threw at him! Their process is very collaborative and their design proposals are innovative yet practical. They successfully negotiated all aspects of the final proposal with the council and took care of all the related admin. All in all, KAS was very professional and they met every single deadline. I can very confidently highly recommend them.

I have found the service provided exceptionally helpful, professional and dedicated to my desires, with my budget in mind. Mirsad listened so well to what I wanted and gently guided me through some decisions (some circular!) I now have planning, drawings and a great design that I am really happy and excited about.
