After working as a project architect for design-led firms in London, Edinburgh and Oxford, I set up as a sole practitioner in 2008 in central Oxford. I studied at Cambridge University in the 1980s and qualified as an architect 1990. Now with thirty years of experience in the construction industry I specialise in bespoke builds, providing personal attention to arrive at the best design solutions for my clients. From 2010 to 2013 I studied part-time in Landscape Architecture at Birmingham City University and was awarded the prize for the best design project in my final year. My mantra is “bringing the inside and outside together” and this is reflected in the materials I work with, flow of space from the interior to exterior, capturing views and daylight and blurring the dividing line between room and landscape.
