We interviewed three architects and chose Lou as it was clear from the outset that we would receive a bespoke service not something off the shelf. Lou was incredibly patient with our multiple changes during the design phase of our double storey side extension in West Byfleet. Lou’s extensive knowledge and experience resulted in our planning application being approved first time without any issues. Once the build commenced we decided to increase the size further which required a further round of planning which was also approved without any issues. Lou is highly personable. I would not hesitate in recommending LouP Architecture and would readily seek Lou’s help again in the future.

We have recently used Louise for our kitchen renovation, which involved knocking several rooms into one, it was far from a regular project. From the very first meeting we felt like we were being understood. Louise listened and noted down everything we said during the initial meeting. She was the second architect that had been to our home which is an 1850s cottage, the first one simply said knock it down and start again which is not what we had in mind. Louise totally got us and our quirky, damp dark cottage. She was professional, patient, calm and truly creative. She also went above and beyond to help us every step of the way, for want of a better word we felt very ‘safe’ in the hands of Louise. We couldn’t have asked for a nicer lady to work with, we are so thrilled with the end result. We were really struggling for an inspirational architect that just didn’t want to copy and paste other houses nearby. We were looking for an architect to draw up plans for a loft conversion and ideas how to transform our conservatory into an extension and some other ideas to maximise our living space. Unlike some other architects ,Louise was happy to do some sketches of her ideas for a small fee without having to fully commit to the project which was ideal as I needed to visualise before agreeing to go forward. We could also then get an idea of the budget and feasibility of the adaptations. She has also put in a pre app for planning to see if we were heading in the right direction of any restrictions we may encounter. She has been more than patient, as we have tried out a few ideas along the way and now we are very satisfied we have made plans to create the best home for our budget and requirements and she has been a pleasure to work with and I wish her all the best moving forward. She has a keen eye for aesthetics and structural beauty of each individual property. We look forward to her plans to put forward for planning permission. Loup Architecture is first class. Louise combines creativity with laser attention to detail to create excellent plans. She then follows up to ensure deadlines are met and obstacles overcome. She designed a house extension a new garage and then a new detached house for me and I can't recommend highly enough.

Lou is great to work with. She has designed our ground floor extension to include a photography studio, larger kitchen, utility room, living room and dining room. She is patient and more than happy to work through ideas and excelled in bringing our dream design to life! She is innovative and professional and delivered in our time frame.
