Once Fiona had seen our rather taxing project, she was always at the end of phone or email to help. She was great at giving me sound and reasonable advice with no thought of gain for herself. They quickly understood the challenges of a particularly complex project, worked hard to navigate their way through the competing and sometimes contrary expectations (with cheer and grace) and then generated some innovative solutions that only those with experience could have done. Our extension is now more than seven years old, but has still got a WOW factor. The new layout for an open plan kitchen with a huge roof light and the oak flooring make it bright and timeless. Richard did not only plan and design it, he recommended all builders and suppliers, which was a huge plus. We were pondering the project for a long time, but afterwards it was clear: we should have done it much earlier!

Fiona and Richard were great to work with. They were patient and responsive during the initial design stages, suggested some brilliant features, and introduced us to an excellent builder, and suppliers. They were very helpful when dealing with the inevitable issues that arise during a renovation, and our project was completed on time. We’ve ended up with a wonderful extension and loft conversion with character and plenty of light, as well as a fully renovated house, which we will enjoy living in for many years.

A highly complicated project -- future proofing a town house to live in for many years.. One of us is 70 and the other approaching. Stairs would have been an issue in future years -so we sourced and installed an incredible lift- not a needs based product- but a beautiful design feature which acts as a central core with the house rebuilt and designed around it. Beautifully designed extension, light hallways and staircase are just a few of the clever attentions to detail. Richard & Fiona introduced us to an incredible team and guided us through every stage. It was also fun and a wonderful experience.

We needed to undertake some important renovation work, and we wanted to ensure that any work undertaken would be of a very high standard with the use of both authentic and high quality fixtures and fittings. McDaniel Woolf were thoroughly professional with their analysis and recommendations, the generation of detailed plans and drawings, and the thorough specifications that were created for key contractors. Their attention to detail and meticulous inspections ensured that a great outcome was achieved all round.
