Awarded Full Service Design & Architectural Studio based in London
We provide customised design solutions tailored to our clients' needs and preferences, ensuring each project reflects their vision. Our approach combines architectural planning with interior design to create a balance between aesthetics and functionality. Using detailed 3D models and photorealistic renderings, we help clients visualise their projects before they begin. Once designs are approved, we make necessary adjustments to ensure the plans align with technical, structural, and budgetary requirements. Our team manages the execution of design projects on-site, overseeing all activities to ensure smooth progress. We focus on maintaining quality control and managing timelines throughout the construction process. By accurately planning materials and labor costs, we help keep projects within budget without compromising quality. Clear communication with construction teams ensures that the project progresses safely and accurately. In addition to design and construction, we create bespoke furniture that complements the overall design of each space. We select high-quality materials and ensure that every piece is crafted with attention to detail. Technical drawings guide the manufacturing process, and quality control checks ensure that each item meets the design specifications. We also manage the assembly and installation of the furniture, ensuring it integrates seamlessly into the space.

I hired Melis for a full-service interior design project, but the experience was extremely disappointing and stressful. From the outset, she promised a professionally led process, but I was left constantly chasing her for updates and decisions. She rarely visited the site, failed to deliver a cohesive design package, never provided final visual renderings, and left me to coordinate key details including my own measurements and correcting avoidable issues with layouts and floor levels, which resulted in additional cost to me. The most concerning issue occurred after I ended our working relationship. I had purchased wall lights using my own credit card via her trade account. After our contract ended, she contacted the supplier to redirect the delivery to her home address without my consent, and refused to return the items. I have now requested a refund from the supplier and reported the matter to the relevant authorities and professional body (SBID). To add to this, she had previously pressured me to leave a positive review on this site early in the project, before many key deliverables had even been provided. I now realise that was misleading and not reflective of the full experience. This situation has cost me financially and emotionally. I would strongly urge others to proceed with caution, insist on full documentation from the start, and avoid making early judgments based on initial impressions.

Comment from MD Architecture & Interiors Ltd:
Hi Anna,

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I’m genuinely sorry to hear that this was your experience, as my priority is always to provide a professional, transparent, and supportive service to every client.

I would like to offer some clarification for anyone reading this review.
Your project was originally agreed as a 6-month design journey. However, I continued working with you for over 1.5 years, during which time I carried out multiple design revisions, updates based on your evolving preferences, and delivered the complete design package in full. Throughout the entire process, I offered support including weekends, late evenings, and outside standard working hours — effectively providing 7/24 availability ( sundays, evening hours as well) whenever you needed guidance or clarification.

Regarding the items purchased through my trade account:
These were ordered with your approval and on your behalf. When the working relationship ended, I contacted the supplier only to ensure the order did not get lost or delayed. At no point did I refuse to return any items; I simply asked for written confirmation on how you wished them to be handled so that I could proceed correctly. I’m glad you were able to obtain a refund from the supplier.

I would also like to clarify that I never pressure clients to leave reviews. Early feedback is something I occasionally request purely to ensure satisfaction with the design direction — always optional and never intended to influence future opinions.

Design projects can be emotional and complex, and I truly regret if any part of the process felt stressful for you. That is never my intention.

For future clients reading this, I want to reassure you that I am committed to clear communication, documented processes, and a highly responsive service. Many clients choose to work with me repeatedly because of this dedication, and I value that trust deeply.

Anna — if you ever need further clarification or assistance, I remain more than happy to help.

Wishing you all the best,
Melis

We recently wrapped up a project with this wonderfully unique team, and the experience was fantastic and valuable. They introduced creative ideas that we hadn’t considered but still perfectly matched our life and house styles. They were adaptable, attentive, and always responsive ( even at the weekend ) to our evolving needs and timelines. Even though this was a smaller project for them, their enthusiasm and dedication were evident every step of the way during the site. It really felt like they cared deeply focused about both the project and our satisfaction. We’re extremely happy with the final outcome so far. Merci!

I had a first discussion with Melis over the phone to discuss my project, a kitchen extension, and received a quote that was very professional, clear & competitive. It is very easy to communicate with Melis via WhatsApp or over the phone and I believe Melis would have been a great match for our project, we ended up hiring a friend who is an architect but would not hesitate to recommend her for any home remodelling project. Thank you!

We met Deniz and Melis while they were working on my friend’s project. When my husband and I decided to build a house together, we examined the projects they had done and wanted them to build our house. They are very open to communication and made everything I wanted in my house happen. They are friendly to their customers. They fulfilled our requests without tiring us at all during the whole process, even if there were technical problems. Thank you very much, they are young, creative people who are improving themselves.
