Method Studio

Would not use or recommend Method after using them for our house and kitchen extension. Wasted costs in the architecture design phase on features that were simply not feasible. Multiple changes of personnel during the design phase meant loss of communication, poor continuity of discussions and a complete lack of innovation around ideas. Method completely ignored the fact we had a soil pipe going through the kitchen which meant it was left for our builders to figure out a solution for. They outsourced structural engineering work to a “recommended” structural engineer who completely missed/ignored next doors eucalyptus tree meaning more costs were incurred further down the project to rectify. Isaac the owner promises to be “on the project throughout” but was nowhere to be seen during these issues. As a result of the above (and more) the architecture design phase of our project was over priced, lacked inspiration and we ended up having to clear up these issues with our thankfully good quality builders. Would not use again!

After meeting with several architects, Isaak grasped the mettle and came back with a spot on design. Ground floor conversion of a garage and carport, that has transformed our house into an amazing home. Totally professional and calm persona, Method Studio eased us through the planning process, twice, after we had a change of mind. It was great to have someone get the vision we had so spot on. Tom and Cara in the background smoothed out any difficulties, Method Studio stand head and shoulders above their peers. We cannot recommend them highly enough.

We had good support on our deceptively complex project. We really appreciate the way the team engaged with us and our contractor. An imaginative solution to our structural conundrum was found. Happy to say we are really enjoying our home now.

We appointed Method as our achitects, embarking on a loft convesion and first floor reconfiguration. On what was quite a tricky older house, Method delivered excellent designs, helped us navigate planning & building control and ultimately secured the services of a contractor. We have been very impressed with their professionalism throughtout and their willingness to help. In fact, we have been so impressed we have rehired them on our next project! Thanks again everyone.

We have had a few extensions on a number of houses that we have lived in . This one designed and managed by Method Studio is by far the best . i wanted a court yard and Tom embraced my idea and designed a truly beautiful and modern extension . We approached Method Studios to design and organise the planning aspects of our recent house extension and couldn't be happier with the end result. We instructed Isaak and the team at Method to create a design solution that would improve the useable space in the upstairs bedroom and downstairs office/playroom. The proposed design solution was really well thought out and will help to significantly improve the amount of useable space and to create a wonderful master suite and dual use space downstairs (playroom and office). This will help us to maximise the use of all of the rooms in our home and to avoid these rooms being destined for storage and occasional use only. A big thank you to Isaak and the team at Method.

Isaak and the team have a great eye for both interesting concepts that make great use of space, but also good attention to detail that really helps us when we're on site managing the build for our customers. They're also efficient with their time which helps the client from a budget perspective, particularly when customers are often unfamiliar with the process.
