About Us

Micah T Jones Architect is a vibrant new registered practice based in Belfast. The Practice was established in January 2012 by Micah Jones. Micah Jones graduated from the University of Ulster with a first class honours degree in Architecture at the University of Ulster, Belfast. Micah completed his Master of Architecture there before he studied for RIBA part 3 in 2011 at Queens University Belfast. Before establishing the practice Micah worked in several practices in Northern Ireland and abroad, including award winning practice twenty two over seven and Dok Architecten in the Netherlands. Micah works with sketching, model making, CAD and graphics, drawing on other mediums such as photography and graphic design.

Flew to see us from Ireland for a day and designed a lovely, contemporary extension for our 18th century, rather tired cottage and also some renovation of the old building without taking away its character. Sailed through planning following a lot of difficulties with previous architects. We’ve just started building so no photos yet!

Really good attention to details & great at listening to needs of large families. We are very impressed with the care of client ideas. Also environmenaly low impact, plus energy efficient to achieve high EPC. Could not find any fault or reason to complain.... J Lyons

Micah was Very attentive to our family needs when considering use of space and budget, he was creative with design solutions, bringing unique design ideas and enabling us to include our own ideas in a way which worked. He was very professional throughout in his approach with builders and contractors. Micah is personable, dependable and has great attention to detail. We are delighted with the outcome, we have a space which is now modern, comfortable, workable and reflects our personalities.
