My Architect

We used my-architect for our extension and renovation project, and they were fantastic throughout. We worked with Dani, and we were able to design our project with her in real time. We started with the current building and literally were able to draw the project with her, making suggestions and changes along the way. Dani was obviously passionate about her job and she was really excited for our project. She was able to offer ideas and solutions, and we were really pleased with the drawings we ended up with. My-architect managed the whole process through getting planning permission which we received on the first application. One of the best things about working with them was the matchmaking process when it came to finding a builder. We weren’t sure where to start and we were really reassured that My-architect had vetted the building firms that quoted for our project, and knew that they were reliable and reputable. The team from My-architect stayed in touch throughout the project, were able to help when any issues cropped up, and came to visit the project to see how it was getting on. We are so happy with our house, and would thoroughly recommend My-architect!

My Architect has been such a pleasure to work with at every stage of our process. The initial call and consultation with Harry was incredibly organized and made a very complicated process clear and transparent. As this was our first ever renovation and build, it was incredibly helpful that the team had broken down each of the phases with a clear set of deliverables at each stage. The architect, Dani, has been an absolute joy to work with, bringing energy and enthusiasm to the project that matched our own excitement about our home's potential. Everything from the initial home visit to each iteration of architectural plans and designs included recommendations that both listened to everything we felt we wanted in our home, but also opened up our eyes to suggestions we wouldn't have considered ourselves (all with budget in mind). We've worked with them to put together our new plans and they helped us get our planning permission approved without a snag. We're looking forward to working with them and their list of contacts in the near future when we get the next stage of building done, and highly recommend them for any project.

I used My-Architect for architectural design and assistance with the tendering process for builders. It’s a fairly large project (for me, at least!) , for a 1920s house in West Norwood, with a ground and first floor side extension, ground floor rear extension, and also into the loft, as well as internal remodelling and a complete renovation. I can’t fault the help from Hristo, who drew up a design that works for me, as well as being practical and, importantly, considering the planning application and how the council was likely to respond. He proactively engaged in the planning process, meaning that the one change that the council needed could be dealt with quickly and didn’t hold up the process at all. As someone who has not carried out a project like this, the help selecting a builder was invaluable. Thinking about the process now, I think that without this assistance I could have made some pretty serious mistakes. I genuinely recommend these guys. Hristo was professional, friendly and proactive, and I both enjoyed the process as well as learning a lot. :)

We worked directly with Hristo at My-Architect and for first time house renovators we could not be in better hands. Hristo was considerate and meticulous with his advice and with our expectations of the project. We felt as if we had someone we could trust with a project so dear to us, our project was our home and not a commercial prospect and he gave us all the time and space we needed to craft our ideal space. At no point did I feel as if anything was 'too much' or that we were being too indecisive or taking too long. We aren't quite in our dream home yet, but when we are there is no doubt we will entrust Hristo to lead and guide our project.

Hristo our architect was fantastic start to finish. He was always available and answered all quieres accurately and promptly. Communication was fisrt rate and he made the whole process stress free. I would wholeheartedly recommend My Architect to anyone thinking of renovating their home. I have been bowled over by the quality of their work, and the professional, communicative and friendly way in which they deliver their service. Harry and Dani have helped me to renovate my garden flat. They were fantastically helpful at guiding me through the process, stage by stage. Dani drew up plans for the renovation that completely fitted the brief. We had really useful design sessions during which Dani was really friendly and really good. She was open to suggestions of mine and helped me to see other elegant design options that improved the layout tremendously. My Architect then helped link me to a selection of really good contractors to offer a range of quotes. This was such an invaluable part of the process as i would really not know where to start without their help. And i felt supported and encouraged all the way through. Any queries i had, Dani and Harry were always at the end of the phone to help out. As i say, these guys are fantastic and if i were to do building works again, i would want to make sure My Architect were onboard to help me.
