Our experience of Nicholas Vanburgh Ltd was first rate. We were aware of other work undertaken by the firm and the excellence we saw there was continued on our project. Nicholas took great care to understand our requirements and developed plans in line with them. He remained in regular contact during the planning process resulting in the plans provided for the builders requiring minimal adjustment as the work progressed. Nicholas provided excellent guidance during the tendering process and dealt with Building Control on our behalf. During the build the work was monitored regularly and any deviations by the builders from the plans were rectified in a timely manner. Nicholas was also very good a recommending appropriate materials for use in the final finishes. All invoices were carefully checked and payments were only authorised on our behalf for work actually completed and the purchase of materials delivered. All in all we enjoyed a very positive experience as a result of employing Nicholas Vanburgh.

We gave Nicholas a tricky brief for an extension and orangery on our period property, incorporating our collection of antique stained glass windows. The result is very special, with some lovely detailing which blended everything extremely well. We had lots of helpful advice from him and would not hesitate to use him again.

Nick listened carefully to what I wanted, interpreted my thoughts in realistic plans, liaised with my builders and supervised the total refurbishment of my turn of the century terrace house. There was so much I did not know and without Nick would still not know. I've been home for over a year now and daily marvel at the upstairs, though downstairs isn't far behind! The attention to detail and nurturing of both me and the project were exceptional. I have no hesitation in recommending Nick for your project.

We gave Nicholas the impossible task of turning a large but totally architecturally challenged farmhouse into a beautiful home. he and his team excelled at this and there attention to detail is exceptional. We asked for a design only service, this is what we got along with more than agreed detailed drawings of every possible element of the rebuild. The job was so impressive that our neighbours employed Nicholas to do their farmhouse and it too have turned out to be an exquisite end result. I would recommend NV ltd again and again.
