After an initial positive start in which Gary enthused over what could be achieved with our extension, things went down hill relatively rapidly. It took time for Gary to provide a contract after several meetings which we did not realise we'd be charged for. Once the contract was provided Gary did secure planning position but the communication provided was poor and he was difficult to get hold of and responses often lacked detail. We repeatedly asked if, as stated in the contract Gary had successfully secured a builder but he failed to do so. We also asked on several occasions for a CAD: a drawing with measurements which would help us begin to plan various aspects of the build including kitchen design etc. We are now at a point after several months of no communication from Gary that we are looking for another architect. We have paid several thousands of pounds and all we have are some drawing I could of done and some beam dimensions provided for by the engineer. Our new architect is shocked at the fact that we have no CAD, no builder secured and by the lack of communication from Gary to close what has been a very poor experience. If you want a good architect - Pitchford Design Associates are not the company for you! Look elsewhere... there's plenty of quality out there.
