About Us

We are a design led architectural practice with more than 25 years of experience in serving the needs of our clients in the residential and commercial fields. PR Design believe that the development of an accurate brief through discussion with our clients is key. This forms the foundation from which we develop a design that meets their requirements and aims to exceed their aspirations. We can deal with Planning, Listed Building and Warrant Applications, manage the tender process and administer the contract during the construction phase right up to hand-over and beyond. We are always on hand to guide you through what may be your first and only design/construction project. Through our contacts in the design and construction industries we can help put together a team of experienced professionals as required for a particular project, be they engineers, landscape architects, interior designers or lighting designers. We can also advise on contractors who would be suitable to carry out the building work.

We approached Peter for proposals for an additional bedroom for our growing family. His design for our extended kitchen dining area and "garden" room not only released the extra bedroom required but also provided us with a fantastic living space without compromise to the original house. It has been genuinely life enhancing having a room which links directly to the garden on summer's days or from which we can enjoy the garden during the winter months. His thoughtful and professional attention to detail ensured that the extension looks great from the outside too. Not often achieved in so many "add on" extensions seen around Edinburgh. Working with Peter throughout the the project we described as "better than therapy". We would not hesitate to recommend his services.

Peter is fantastic! He is very experienced, knowledgeable, reassuring and worked really well with all professionals involved, as well as being a very nice person! Peter Robinson is a master of his profession. We came to him with a fairly clear sense of what we thought we wanted, on the back of having seen his work on projects undertaken by members of my family. His outside eye and expertise very quickly identified key elements of our project that transformed our extension from the ordinary to the extraordinary. We couldn’t be more delighted with Peter’s impact on the end result. Many who have past our recently completed house extension have enquired about the architect! He was professional, attentive and efficient and great fun to work with and on hand if his input was required during the build. We couldn’t recommend Peter and PR Design enough.
