Commissioning Snug to design and project manage the build of our new home was a great decision. We were very much struck by their values led approach (which experience demonstrates, they very much live up to) and that their existing portfolio included a range of creative designs that clearly responded to the context in which they were set. Great creative leadership, an iterative and collaborative approach to design, steady navigation through the various challenges inevitably encountered in a project such as this, all meant our confidence in Snug’s ability has been amply rewarded with a fabulous home loved by all our family.

Snug are highly professional and yet very accessible architects. We have engaged in their services on a number of occasions and they are always very helpful, insightful, willing to give advice and really walk right beside you through the journey of your project no matter how big or small.

I found Snug on the internet and spoke to them along with a few other architects. Paul blew me away with his initial concept drawing which he produced with a pen and paper stood at the bottom of my garden. This demonstrated real vision and experience. My house is in the South Downs National Park, in a conservation area, AONB and surrounded by listed buildings including a church. Paul did a great job with pre-planning and the main application considering some internal conflict within council departments. The extension doubled the size of the house and consisted of a zinc roof, green oak cladding, lots of glass and some very nice rendering. It really has made the most of the space and built to a very high standard thanks to the excellent 'behind the scenes' technical team led by Ben. Ben is extremely knowledgeable, VERY easy to get on with and a real strength for the business. I would not hesitate to recommend Snug and am extremely happy with the work they have carried out

We engaged Snug to design a new modern family home that was striking in appearance , respectful to its local surroundings, and responsive to the need to balance modernity with practical living .The solution was bold and imaginative and Snug skilfully steered the design process from initial feasibility through to practical completion. Of particular note was their eye for detail and their positive responsiveness to client input. The finished product met all the agreed design criteria and was delivered on time and within budget. A recent shortlisting of the house for a local design award is testament to the quality of their work.

We hired Snug Architects after looking for an architect specialising in modern design that focused on comfortable living spaces. We were looking for a redesign of a very tired 1960 detached house to be bring it right up to date both externally and internally. Despite our many years dedication to house improvement magazines, they managed to come up with a design that took us by surprise. Very creative. Snug's team are all individually talented and a complete delight to work with. Very professional. Great vision, and great communicators. In particular they worked really well with the builders and created a great team spirit between all parties. Very excited about our house. We are due to move back in, in 6 weeks!
