Stopher Design Partnership Limited have carried successfully some twenty five projects in both London and Devon. These have been both large and small, residential and commercial. We would have no difficulty recommending this practice for future work with the company.

It is almost ten years now since we moved into our Stopher home - enough time to truly appreciate Michael and Jo’s outstanding work. The design and construction process ran smoothly. Clearly there were hiccoughs along the way, as with any construction project, but these were resolved in good humour, with Michael overseeing closely the relationship with our contractor. We adore our home. We bought a prime site opposite a house that we had rented for summer holidays over the previous decade. We knew that we loved the position. What we did not appreciate was how much this could be optimised with a beautifully designed house. Our house is a joy to live in, uplifting our spirits every time we arrive home. The house is filled with sunlight from morning to evening, floor to ceiling windows afford panoramic views over the beach and countryside, and its multiple balconies and outdoor spaces enable us to enjoy Jo’s lushly planted garden across the seasons.

I love Michael’s passion and enthusiasm when designing houses and his great attention to detail on his drawings. His architectural style is unique and you can always recognise a ‘Stopher designed’ house. Michael has a great sense of humour and working with him is always fun. We believe he adds value to the houses he designs and that is, as a developer client, a very good reason for commissioning him! He is professional, committed and always happy to chat and give advice.
