Sally has been a pleasure to work with. She produced some fantastic designs for our extension, she really takes the time to understand us as a family and puts a lot of thought in to what would work for us in terms of functionality and combines that with design and an aesthetic we absolutely love. Her creativity is matched by her professionalism and she has managed the planning permission process seamlessly and has helped us appoint a builder we are confident will do her design justice. I'd work with Sally again in a heartbeat, I couldn't recommend SW Architects highly enough!

Sally is professional, creative and imaginative. She listens very well and was able to take my own ideas for my house renovation and turn them into something I would never have thought of, at the same time keeping my original ambition for the house at the centre of her design - the plans are much better then I would have dreamt of for myself. She is practical and realistic, very straightforward to work alongside with a collaborative, enabling style which I have very much appreciated. I would have no hesitation in recommending her to anyone who is considering a design or building project.

We first engaged Sally to draw up plans for our kitchen extension and garden landscaping project. After an initial consultation, she designed 3 different plans for our consideration, all of which met our brief, and we were then able to refine the chosen design with her. I appreciated the fact that as well as the overall building plans, she also threw little design ideas into the mix, such as a picture-window seat, corner slit-window and recessed shelving to make the new space more than just a box. She advised us on planning consent, oversaw tender negotiations, and has liaised with the builders and building control on our behalf. Now we have started the build, we have retained her in a project management role to ensure that the build goes smoothly, to time and within budget. I can highly recommend Sally.

We certainly found all this and more to be true. We live in a Victorian Gothic Rectory and wanted the extension we dreamed of. Sally exuded a genuine empathy and confidence for our project. Any changes or concerns we had were dealt with swiftly and with a depth of understanding that made the whole process a pleasure. She was always approachable and reliable. We greatly appreciated how transparent and upfront she was with her costings: A Schedule of Fee’s was drawn up and itemised in stages so there were no hidden costs or surprises. Planning Permission was a genuine concern but Sally knew how to deal with potentially tricky issues and got our plans through with ease. We have future plans for further development of the Rectory and without hesitation will be asking Sally for her professional help and guidance.
