Visio Architecture is owned and operated by Gareth Elphinstone MCIAT MSc, a Chartered Architectural Technologist with a Masters Degree in International Project Management from Glasgow Caledonian University. Prior to founding Visio Architecture, Gareth spent 14 years working for E&H Building contractors, a company that specialises in low energy, Scandinavian style timber frame homes for the private market. Gareth has acted as the lead design consultant on numerous projects ranging from new build family homes to large social housing developments.
Visio architecture takes its name from the latin word for vision. We approach all of our projects with imagination and enthusiasm, and with extensive experience in residential house design and construction, we can help to bring our clients ideas to life.

We would highly recommend Visio. From the initial conversation at the conception stages for plans to completion of planning and building warrant, our expectations were exceeded with how streamlined the service was we received. All the small details added in at the planning stage are now even more appreciated now we’re living in our home. Nothing was a hassle when it came to asking questions and asking advice regarding how we should proceed with various elements of the project. During difficult times at the planning stage, Gareth was able to make things consider less stressful and more streamlined with his ability to liaise with multiple parties involved with the project.
