Will Slack | Design is an award-winning architecture practice specialising in contemporary design-led architecture. Our passion lies combining architecture and interior design to create exceptional living spaces that enhance the lives of our clients. We create quality built spaces that fit seamlessly in their context whilst improving the appeal and values of our client’s homes. Collaboration lies at the heart of our design process. We work closely with our clients to understand their needs, lifestyles and aspirations to ensure the result aligns with their desires while exceeding their expectations. The practice is led by RIBA chartered architect Will Slack who has over eleven years’ experience in bespoke residential projects. We offer a personal service guiding our clients through the process whilst always suggesting ways to be cost clever in the most design-orientated way. Whether its a one-off house or sensitive addition to a historic building, each project is approached with a fresh perspective to create a bespoke design solution.

Will was fantastic from beginning to end. He gave us innovative ideas and a brilliant use of our limited space. Will listened to our wishlist and tried to incorporate as much in with our budget in mind. Friends are always commenting that the space looks as if it was always like this, it flows so well. Our family home also feels light and airy ☺️ Would thoroughly recommend him for any extension project

Our first ever project working with an architect and Will was fantastic, his design, advice and reassurance throughout the entire build was exactly what we needed. Not an easy project as our house is old and we wanted something fresh and new to fit in seamlessly alongside it. We absolutely love the finished build and it has completely changed the dynamics of our house, giving us a bright spacious room that looks out onto the garden. Everything we asked for.

Will was great start to finish. This was our first significant structural change to our home and it's safe to say we were a bit nervous about the enormity of the build. We were guided through the process by Will and reassured throughout - calming all nerves! We made sure to ask Will to respect the age of our Victorian property, making sure to retain the soul of the building. Our old kitchen and dining space was cold, dark and dingy. The new space is filled with light and a joy to be in. We spend more time in here now than any other room in the house. We're over the moon with our new kitchen extension, utility and downstairs WC. We would look to use Will again for any future work to our home and have already recommended him to friends and neighbours! Thanks Will!

Having photographed an exclusive stunning property near York for Will I can honestly say his designs are creative and unique with a fabulous use of space creating a ‘wow’ factor with great curb appeal. The attention to detail he has in his design work is evident to see with some well thought out touches. The results are a fabulous calming living space. In a time when people are spending money on their own property in preference to moving house it is imperative that you use a dedicated and highly respectable qualified architect with innovative design skills and ideas to help you create something that is functional, practical, yet stunning in its design.
