Ark were commissioned to design a scheme to develop a plot of land within a small village. The brief was to demolish the existing property and maximise the potential of the site. Working closely with the Local Authority, Ark produced plans for a mixed development of six dwellings. Their local knowledge ensured a satisfactory planning decision.

Ark developed the design and plans for a double garage conversion at our property. From the outset they provided new and interesting creative design thoughts which we hadn't even conceived yet considered. As a result we have a fantastic new living space which is not only much more extensive than we'd anticipated but also a real feature in the property. Ark organised plans, initial structural surveys and planning consents etc,, supported us with appropriate contracts and schedule of works to use with our builder (liaising with the builder where necessary).

We hired ARK Architects on a kitchen remodeling and extra bedroom project. Deborah Wakley did a terrific job drawing and managing the project on a day-to-day basis but Lee Battersby was also heavily involved. I would recommend them and use them again on future projects of this nature.

I came across Ark through a recommendation from a friend so I checked them out on here and found some good reports. I made contact with them and set up a meeting to discuss my project. From the moment I met the team I felt comfortable and re-assured that I had made the write choice. We sat down and talked through my ideas for the extension to my house and what I wanted to get out of it, from this meeting various ideas/layouts were sketched up and this provoked further ideas which led to a layout that was far better than I had originally anticipated in my head. Further meetings were held and the layout finalised ready for submitting to Planning. During the planning stage I asked Ark to work up the construction drawings and sections so that we could obtain competitive prices from builders. Ark recommended some builders and arranged quotes, we then sat down and discussed the quotes to ensure that I was happy with the price and intended programme. The works have just commenced on site and I must say the contractor has been great so far. Overall the experience I have had with Ark has been nothing short of exceptional, their attention to detail and ideas they have given me for the internal finishes and décor will result in a new space that is far beyond what I was anticipating when I first had the idea in my head. I would highly recommend Ark to anyone.
