“After having seen several projects, residential and commercial, McLelland Architecture had completed, we decided to go with the expertise of Jon McLelland. What attracted me most were innovative ideas, an interest in sustainability and LEED, and the proven talent to combine older historical buildings with a touch of modern. We received expert drawings, as well as great recommendations for our residential kitchen remodel, a major undertaking in an older home that required the removal of load bearing walls and complete reconfiguration of the space. McLelland Architecture provided fantastic services, and we would hire them again in a heart beat - highly recommended!”

“We used John Holmes as our architect for a large home addition. Our addition looks like it is original to the house. John is professional, responsive and has a great eye for the beauty and functionality of a completed project. He has been at our side throughout the entire process giving us overall guidance both by making recommendations and just listening. John is experienced, knowledgable, able to "tweak" to keep within budget and has been timely in getting back with us. He is extremely easy to work with and a pleasure to be around. We give John top marks as an architect and have no hesitations in recommending him to others.”

“Home sweet home design was very professional. We sat down talked about what I wanted then a design was brought back to me and a budget was discussed. The group started on the project when promised and was very respectful and courteous when I made changes to the design. I went over my budget but got everything that I wanted. After the completion of the job everything was cleaned up completely somethings were recycled. I was very satisfied with my opened concept kitchen. There was a receptacle brought in from the start to put all old materials in so my yard was not a mess. I would Recommend home sweet home design to anyone. This was the second Project I had this company do for me. They remodeled my bathroom too.”

“James Wagnon built a house for us in 1996. We are building another house this fall (2017) and James will be our builder. “My husband and I consulted with Tim Barron on a renovation/addition for our home. Tim answered all of our questions and discussed several options for the renovation/addition. He solved problems we couldn't figure out on our own. For example, he suggested moving a wall to avoid having a hallway we didn't want. He also sketched a window design that would allow more natural light to flow into our home. While we ultimately decided it was best to purchase a new home, we have no doubt his design would have exceeded our expectations. If we ever need an architect, Tim will be the first person we call.”
