“I recently engaged Amelia from Undercover Architect to assist in designing a renovation of our home in Sydney. I completed a questionnaire before our meeting, she spent two hours at our home doing a walk through and discussing our brief and then prepared a very detailed report and "Vimeo" presentation including two different sets of floor plan options, all drawn to scale, including lay overs so you could see how the proposed changes related to the existing floor plan and how the second story would relate to the ground floor. It was outstanding, so impressive and so useful! The Vimeo video entailed Amelia talking through the floor plans, explaining why she designs things in certain ways, options at different design junctions - it all made so much sense and helped me understand the design process. Amelia is very driven to help clients achieve a fantastic design, she can assist with a Reno Rescue report or continue you to guide you through the design process. She was also very helpful in wanting to assist me find the right designer to continue working with us (Amelia is based in Brisbane). I received much more from Amelia than I was expecting in terms of the detail in her report and ongoing email support. She was really prompt in responding to emails and so enthusiastic about design and achieving a great outcome for our renovation. The Reno Rescue proved to be excellent value and I would recommend Amelia and her Reno Rescue service unreservedly!”

“We hired Sam at the beginning of 2009 to do a partial renovation of an old farm house in northern New South Wales. He was very professional and when any problems arose always had a solution which was helpful when we had not renovated before. There were complexities with moving walls and re-jigging ceiling roses etc but nothing was too much trouble. We all worked with an excellent building team and together made our renovation work both inside and outside with inground tanks and a swimming pool. A very positive experience.”

“Sue Harper, Kelley Rochow and Phil Harris of Troppo Architects all contributed to designing our beautiful Australian home in Byron Bay. We spoke with Sue almost everyday and she really understood what we wanted to achieve in our new home. We've been living here for the past 6 months and love the way the house responds to the seasons. We now have our fire going at night, but in the summer we opened all the louvres, turned on a few fans and the sea breezes kept us cool and content. We love how the house sits so well in the landscape and in the neighbourhood, people passing by often stop to talk about the house or pop in to take a look and stay for a cuppa at Kelley's bar. We feel incredibly lucky to have found Sue Harper and Troppo at the exact time we bought the land. They are very collaborative, imaginative and really respected our passion for simplicity and minimalism so we have a relaxed home here in paradise.”

“Dominic Finlay Jones Architects designed our production kitchen and cafe space. It was an absolute joy to work with them. Our builder who saw original plans by a kitchen designer and then further plans from Dominic Finlay Jones was staggered by how much money we had saved by having a cleverly designed space with less building requirements. We were also grateful for the architects ability to take council imposed hurdles and turn them into stunning features. It was without a doubt the best spent money in the entire project. Jeremy”
