“The brief was to remodel our 1920s semi into a large modern family home. Tom understood our requirements really well and we couldn't be more pleased with the space he designed - a wrap-around extension; 2-storey to the side and 1-storey on the back. In particular, he was able to accommodate our changing ideas comfortably and gave excellent advice on design features, without the end result looking too 'design-y'. We would recommend him without hesitation.”

“I hired R.Hughes Designs to plan a loft conversion because we were running out of space and the cost of moving wasn’t realistic. R .Hughes designs were so quick at coming out for the first initial visit where we discussed our plans and I was immediately impressed by their professionalism and knowledge as we talked through our ideas. The next phase was to measure up our house and again they arrived on time and completed with no fuss. The best bit though were the drawings and plans, we were blown away as to what had been planned for us! There was even a 3D model of our house which was shown on an iPad, from this we could see exactly how the conversion would look. The drawings and plans were so clear they made it really easy to gather prices from builders. I would highly recommend R.Hughes Designs to anyone they are fantastic!”

“Dennis came to look at what we thought was a straightforward basement extension, and immediately saw the potential to make it a far bigger, brighter space by breaking through to the upper floor and putting in a spiral staircase and upstairs sunroom. He then guided us through the planning application, the building tender, and the structural planning then oversaw the project and budget with great expertise. His calm, practical advice was invaluable at helping us navigate the inevitable challenges we struck along the way. We love living in the wonderful space he helped us create. I can't recommend Dennis highly enough.”
