“The Little House For 30 years I had ideas of building a small, sustainable house for my retirement and had various architects sketch conceptional plans. Atelier Chung was able to take these early ideas and transform them by reincarnating them in contemporary form and then marrying them with the environment on my plot overlooking Kedron Brook in Brisbane. The result was beyond my expectations: high functionality, energy efficiency, sound but unobtrusive security and a very contemporary award-winning look in concrete, glass and timber. Its residents feel it to be spacious and open but its footprint - a mere 45 sqm.”

“We got in touch with Anthony James to discuss the renovation of our Queenslander and we were immediately impressed with his professionality and customer orientated attitude. He gave us valuable inputs even before we had committed ourselves to working with him. Throughout the design process he listened to us and transformed our wishes into the most wonderful design, adding many features that we would never have thought of ourselves. We could not have wished for a more inspired and more highly qualified designer, he is at the top of his profession and we give him our heartfelt thanks and recommend him highly!”

“Matt designed the most beautiful home for us in the Northern Beaches - we have been raising our family in this home now for over ten years - and we all love it. The space, light, design and function that Matt created in this home has had a massive positive impact on our wellbeing - it just feels lovely to be in. We all love hanging out here and having friends and family over to enjoy it too. He is a pleasure to work with - we'd be happy to show you our home or provide a verbal reference.”

“Lee and Scott from Aboda Design Group created our amazing Blue Dog Beach House at Noosa. We had purchased land overlooking the ocean on a unique fan shaped sand dune block and wanted to create a very special beach house that would feel welcoming, blissful and make the most of the beautiful coastal surrounds. We were very open to design ideas and had a pinterest board of images and concepts that we liked - wanting to merge New England coastal style with a bright and airy Noosa beach house. Stepping inside the house is like a dream and each time we visit, we love it more and more and our guest feedback has been amazing. Lee and Scott listened to our ideas and were able to interpret them in a way that made best use of the site - little things such as privacy issues to that even though the house is in a suburban location, it feels almost completely private. Pictures windows create artworks of the ocean and despite being in a potentially highly windy location, the orientation and aspect of the house has dealt with this challenge beautifully making the outdoor areas useable almost all of the time and throughout the year. Six months on and we are still noticing all the design aspects that make the house truly something extraordinary. I think the most important factor of all in architectual design is the way that you feel when you are in a space and on this element, Blue Dog has met and surpassed everything we had hoped for. Lee and Scott are very passionate about what they do and it has been an amazing life experience to have had their assistance in creating what has been a dream come true for our family. “To whom it concerns We are opening a real estate office on October 1st 2013 and have leased a premises previoulsy occupied by a dress shop. While we felt anyone (including us) could easily design a 108m2 real estate office, nevertheless we engaged the services of Paul Hindes at Soul Space design. Paul had previously designed a cafe for us in 2006. The brief was fairly simple: 1. Create a real estate office with a point of difference to the other 8 in the town 2. The total cost needs to be a quarter of the cost of similar size refits. So like $20,000 rather than $80,000 Paul presented quite a few options, each with its own merits, however the final design chosen is genius. Everyone from the builder, to the electrician, even the floor covering man have commented on the open design, with no doors, yet segregated areas, The air conditioning man said the use of cut-away spaces in walls will save $$ thousands. Paul's use of an outdoor James Hardie product for a feature wall and matching reception desk will be the talk of the town in both functional, and visible aspects. A plant-a-box 3 metres long will also be unique. We have phoned Paul several times for on the spot advice to alter sizes and location of internal walls, and he has always obliged promptly and with a great attitide. He strives in every way to make his clients successful. The strict Richardson & Wrench franchise group are also wrapped with the service of Soulspace. We have no hesitation recommending Paul Hindes of Soul Space design. Mark and Maree Lawler 15 Lang St Coolum Beach QLD 4573”

“Tim has an amazing design edge, After one interview of an hour he then presented us with the most amazing plan for our home. With his combination of design and architectural knowledge he understands just what is needed. The design was so left field yet simple and PERFECT - we did not change any part of the concept and wanted the finished product to remain true to his vision. From the very beginning Tim was unbelievable easy to work with, listened intently to what we wanted and translated this into the amazing award winning home that we have today. Located in bushland the home blends into its surrounds as an integral part of the environment yet is simply the classiest and 'liveable' space. Guests are awed by the use of natural light and eco principles and tactile design. This home will not ever date and yet will work with the environment as both it and the home age gracefully.”
