“Alison and Anna are wonderful ladies to work with. They have a great eye for design and understand how to get the most out of the space you have to work with. Their drawings are detailed which makes it easier for us as builders. Our company CCM, LLC (general contractor) has worked on few project with HQ Architects. Our most recent project was a custom home in Hill Top. We love working with these ladies and can't wait for the next project.”

“From start to finish this was an amazing experience. Becky listened to all of our input and took all of our wants and needs into consideration. The project came in under budget and ahead of schedule and the crew doing the work were fabulous. We will be using them again on next major project! Our house was built in 1910 and they did a great job of incorporating the character and charm into the project! Couldn't be happier!”

“Root Architecture and Development's amazing designs are what enticed me to working with Zeke on my newest residential development project. Before we got started, I hired Zeke to do a feasibility study on my lot to help me conceptualize what I could actually build there. After meeting Zeke on site, I was told I'd have the results of the study within a week and true to their word, I did! We went over the plans in person with great detail and I was quite impressed with my whole experience, from start to finish, in working with Root Architecture and Development. Even though I ended up selecting a different architect due to prior relationships and projects, I look forward to working with Zeke in the near future!”

“The architects at TKP have great vision and practical ideas. I had spent months working with another architect to design an addition to our 55-year-old home but nothing clicked. Then Karen Keating looked all through our home, sat down and in a matter of minutes roughly sketched out a plan which included a dining nook, den, office, bath and storage room. I knew we'd found the firm with which we wanted to work. Everyone that we worked with at TKP was respectful of our ideas, and then made them even better. We love our three-year-old, 1000 square foot "new" space. It flows beautifully with the original house.”

“Sandy did a great job of listening to my husband and my needs, and she designed a great pop top for our Denver Square. There were many hiccups along the way (but what home remodel doesn't have one!) and Sandy went above and beyond in making sure our issues were addressed and fixed. There were many occasions where an issue would arise (foundation wasn't good, we needed more money for framing, etc) and she would provide a solution, and then explain the problem and the solution together. Sometimes the solution had to have more money, but there were occasions where she would figure out how to save us money as well!”

“I pretty much knew want I wanted to do with my project. I warned Ellen I knew enough about architecture to be dangerous. Ellen recognized my requirements and was instrumental in identifying other considerations needed for the project. Included was a need for a code variance (setback). I was informed by the city, before starting the project, a code allowance(variance) was not required. Ellen’s code research was right. A code allowance was required. With her help, the review board approved the code allowance request unanimously. Our project involves bumping the attached garage eight feet to allow for a utility room between the garage and house. The design includes moving the washer and dryer out of the basement. As simple as the project sounds, there is a lot involved. Ellen listened to my wife’s concerns and ideas on the project. Together we achieved a very efficient design. We are now in the permit and construction phase of the project. I am looking forward to Ellen’s input. Ellen deserves your serious consideration.”

“How many times in life do you get a service that is thorough, creative, timely and complete? Jim provided all of this and more. Jim was a pleasure to work with on our project. He came up with creative solutions to our requests that we wouldn’t have been able to come up with on our own. To top it all off, Jim was a pleasure to work with on this property. “We hired the Hart Studio when we needed an architect to help us with our expansion/remodel plans. While we had a basic idea of what we wanted, Tom Hart really brought the project to life. He listened to what we wanted, asked questions regarding how we wanted to use the space and made sure it would fit in with the existing structure of the house. Tom was extremely easy to work with, creative in his ideas, responsive to our questions, always met deadlines and really guided us through the entire project. Tom did an exceptional job of tying in the old part of the house with the new part so it looked seamless, which was very important to us. It was a big project and could easily have been overwhelming but with Tom's help it was very manageable. We were thrilled with how the project turned out and would highly recommend the Hart Studio. If we ever do another project like this, we would hire Tom Hart and the Hart Studio again, without hesitation.”
