“The BIM/Design team are top notch professionals. Selecting them to design my house has by far been the best professional decision I have made in 57 years of life. My wife and I had become discouraged with our attempts to find a designer. We had a rude design from cutting and pasting different designs together. We knew what we wanted but couldn’t put it together and were discouraged with several other designers. While searching through Houzz for an architect I found the BIM/Design Resources site and made contact. WOW, ever since that date I have been blown away with Shan’s level of professionalism and knowledge. He took our drawings and ideas and turned it into our dream home. We had the opportunity to meet with Shane several times. He explained in detail all the design features and made changes that served our life style. He is not only an outstanding designer, he fully understands the building process. He also met with our builder to discuss the design. My wife and I will be forever grateful for his team’s hard work. It is impossible to explain in words how pleased we are with the design. “Steven is drawing the second home for our family. We could not be more pleased with his work. He listens, incorporates what we want, and is very good about communicating with you through the process. I have lived in many homes in my life and my favorite by far is the one Steven drew for us. In fact we loved it so much, he is drawing a slightly modified version for us to build again that take into account the changes in our family. Highly recommend!”

“I have worked with Steve on multiple projects over the years in both New York and Nantucket MA. It is always a great experience working with him so I keep seeking him out for advice and assistance on whatever project I have. It started with an apartment renovation in NY based upon a recommendation from a seller who decided not to sell her apartment that I loved. He did a makeover on the apartment I later bought which had already been improved but not in my style. We added built-ins throughout, refinished floors, refaced cabinets, chose paint colors, and all furnishings in a style that felt uniquely my own. He had an excellent way of learning what I like and do not like and made the process for me very efficient because I almost always loved at least one of the options he presented to me for furnishings, curtains, carpets etc. Later we did a bathroom renovation which is a jewel box and very unique. A few years later he took a one day turn around trip with me to Nantucket to scope out my new beach house and came up with a very clever strategy for access to a second floor loft previously served by a ladder. This added tremendous utility to the space. He designed the new kitchen as well. He designed a brand new much expanded deck, and subsequently an outbuilding along the lines of a tiny house. I love working with Steve and hope to have more projects in future that we can work on together. Highly recommend!”
