WM Design & Architecture Ltd
Architects in Pen-y-groes, Gwynedd
Average rating: 4 out of 5 stars2 June 2016
“WM Design were responsible for the complete design our new house, including all details of materials and construction. They advised on matters including method of constuction (a mix of block and timber frame), retaining walls for the site, timber cladding details, heating and lighting. We found them very helpful and approachable. We certainly gained from their knowledge of modern materials and inovations”
Mallindine Architects and Interior Designers
Architects in Pen-y-groes, Gwynedd
Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars17 December 2020
“Mark Mallindine Architects followed and helped ease my project through the tortuous planning stages helping justify various contentious issues and working closely with the other contractors involved. All the while the project was being honed with me the client so that when work could finally begin, plans were agreed and in place. The final part of the project was handed over successfully to furniture designer/manufacturers who refined the concept after architect briefing and agreement of details with client. Also plans for flooring and lighting contractor were fully handed over when this work began allowing the builder to finesse the details without unnecessary interference from architect. This staged process maximised efficiency and the final result. This was an archive storage unit mobile enough to allow very occasional deliveries, e.g. furniture or washing machine changes in future, without making the unit too narrow or impractical. An practical and good looking solution to storage described by one friend as "elegant" (a word you don't often hear for ordinary garage/storage shelving!). Mark Mallindine and the contractors he works with have a keen sense of design and architectural history which makes the whole process more enjoyable.”

“Architect Chris Wilderspin designed and project managed a house conversion for us in Talsarnau in North Wales. Chris was a complete joy to work with, an absolute professional. His patient and calm manner and his attention to detail made what can be a stressful process a lot easier. Can not recommend him highly enough.”
