“Studio AWA recently designed and project-managed the renovation of our house. The brief was to open up the ground floor to let in more natural light, and to make more efficient use of the living space. “Sandy from Block 9 designed for us a large and very quirky 'butterfly roof' extension which is a delight to use as a day to day family eating and living space. The design is beautiful and was delivered despite the troublesome builder that we'd chosen! (Sorry, Sandy) Every aspect of the design and planning process was executed in a short time-frame with even last minute changes approved quickly. The overall result has been to add a bedroom, an extra bathroom and a massive living space to our modest terraced house. I'd recommend Block 9 for even the trickiest of projects.”
