“I hired Rebecca Poole to draw up plans for a new 2 car garage that I will be having built. When we met with her, and I explained what we were looking for, she took some measurements to begin work. After a very short time, she notified me that the elevations were done, and after that, the final plans were generated. All of the plans were of excellent quality.....very professional !! Rebecca was a pleasure to work with, and her services were reasonably priced. I highly recommend Rebecca if you are looking for this type of service, and would hire her again in a second if needed. “Katie has been a wonderful professional to work with. She is creative, very diligent and timely in her work. Katie has helped us organize our project very well, educating us on the entire design and building process. She has been very conscious about keeping us on budget and has worked very collaboratively with our builder. Katie listens well to our ideas, and is flexible and adaptive with her ideas. Her drawings, plans and schedules are clear and complete. We have wanted to be ecologically careful and design a home that is respectful of environmental factors. She has been a great support in these areas. She has also been a big help in designing our soft interior designs, carpets, window treatments, furniture, pillows etc. She helped us repurpose furniture that compliments our vision and has sensitively advised us on moving on items that do not compliment our project design. She has an eye for light, color and simplicity that I appreciate. She is the whole package.”

She also designed a master bathroom and was able to provide a contemporary design and exquisite en suite. “Michael is a very capable and creative architect. I had the good fortune of acquiring his professional help and contracted with him to expand the first level of our “cape” house in Mattapoisett. We originally thought of modifying a previous family room addition to use as the basis of our new plans. Michael looked into that structure and determined that because of some floor issues and wall cracks that it was not structurally sound enough to use. I had full confidence in Michael’s recommendation; so, although it would cost more to destroy that structure and start over, we agreed. As the first phase started, my contractor ran into a very disturbing issue where the foundation of the initial addition was unstable. Michael was correct in his analysis. Michael is very thorough and meticulous. I highly recommend Michael Silva as your architect.”

“We couldn’t have made a better choice when choosing Beacon Home Design for the design our dream home. After meeting with several home design and architect firms we felt confident immediately after meeting with Joe Correia from Beacon and knew he was the right choice. Joe brought all of our ideas together, guiding us with his creativity and practicality. Pointing out so many things along the way that we wouldn’t have ever considered. He helped make a confusing process seamless. Before meeting with Joe we had a lot of anxiety about the whole process but he quickly put everything into prospective. We were amazed by how patient he was, listening to what seemed to us as jumbled ideas at times. But he somehow understood what we were conveying to him. Joe was two steps ahead of us putting together those ideas better that we could have imagined. We found he had a vast amount of knowledge and experience with so many aspect of home building. This became instrumental in us making the right decisions. I can’t say enough about Joe. Joe makes the process an ease and a pleasure.
