“James was the third architect we had come out to the property, not only did he put us at ease straightaway he came up with numerous ideas and possibilities. We really wanted someone to guide us, he didn’t shoot any of our ideas down he worked with us and opened our eyes to other options. I could not recommend him enough. “Phil has been amazing helping and guiding us from our initial wish to extend our dining room right through to the finished product. Phil is a really friendly and approachable guy. He listened to our initial ideas, answered our questions quickly and clearly and gave us three different options to choose from, any one of which would have been brilliant. Having made our choice he guided us through the entire process including planning, getting quotes and timescales then working closely with our builder through to the end of the project. We are absolutely delighted with the end result. It couldn’t be better and has transformed our home. It will give us, our family and friends many happy years using the new space in and outdoors. We are also looking forward to seeing how the sedum roof blooms and grows over the months ahead. Phil and his team have been brilliant to work with and we would definitely recommend them to anyone considering similar projects.”

“Stu Kent was the lead architect on our Whistler Vacation Home project. He worked closely with us to make changes to an initial concept design, including increasing the scale of the project by nearly 50%. We found Stu a great listener, taking full account of what we were looking to achieve with the design and not forcing us into decisions we were not yet comfortable with. This was very important given this was our first experience with building a home. Stu also made significant valuable recommendation with respect to the interior layout and design of the finished spaces, working very effectively, and in a coordinated manner, with the interior designer, builder and project manager. In fact, all those related to the project commented how much he added to the project, above and beyond what other architects may contribute and that their interactions with Stu were very positive, well coordinated and significantly beneficial to the overall project. With respect to cost management, we believe Stu particularly excelled in identifying opportunities to achieve cost efficiencies while remaining true to our desired final design. Throughout the project, he would work closely with the builder and other stakeholders to identify potential cost savings or design enhancements. He pro-actively communicates with all stakeholders, including, importantly, the owners. We have no hesitation in recommending Stu for any projects or roles that he may have an opportunity to work on in the future.””
