“After extensive research we appointed Wighton Architects for our renovation and extension of a 4 bed Victorian house. From the very start of the process, Stuart impressed us with his eye for detail and aesthetic consideration. He presented multiple concepts, all of which were well considered and met the needs of our family and 'wish list'. Once we decided on the design, he worked very well with the planning department in Waverley despite being based in Leeds and smoothly gained permission. He played a key role in appointing the building contractor and then as project manager throughout in collaboration with the builder. His approach meant that the timetable was kept on track and any issues with the building firm swiftly and amicably resolved. He brought the project in on budget which was impressive given the scale of work. I have no hesitation in recommending Stuart and Wighton Architects.”

“The service we received was exceptional. Simon was professional, knowledgeable, and listened to exactly what we wanted to do. He ensured every aspect of our project was dealt with, from start to finish, smoothly and efficiently. He took all the stress out of every step of the process. Once we were ready to proceed he had recommendations and ideas of where and who we could contact, to help us get the building work underway. Nothing was ever too much trouble. We would highly recommend Design Solutions and would certainly use them again if we required any further work.”

He provided an excellent service, his design found a solution to a layout problem we'd been unable to fathom ourselves and we are very happy with the outcome. James was always available, gave excellent advice and won over the planning authority to give us what we wanted. He was great value for money and I have recommended him to friends.”

“Ian acted as our architect for an extension project back in 2001 and when we came to do a full renovation of our house 15 years later we were very happy to use his services once again. He is great to work with to realise your ambitions within your budget, get you over the line with the planning and building control authorities, find a contractor and then supervise the project through to completion. He has also helped a great deal with post completion and rectification issues and we are very happy with the results of our project with him. Ian is personable, thorough and professional and we have no hesitation in recommending him.”

Annabelle however dealt with all aspects excellently achieving a no compromise design with a swift planning permission. The end result in my opinion is one of the best houses for sale in Alderley Edge.”
