She is the rare combination of practical problem solving, experience and actual design talent – the spark, the touch, the eye – that design-and-build combo operations can never even approach. Meriwether also stayed on the scene throughout construction and served as a bulldog advocate for our interests with the builder. As you can tell, we are thrilled. “Alethea is amazing! She was an integral part of the team when we remodeled our entire basement, renovated our kitchen and added a large porch in the front of our home. She was the key person to help select all of the interior selections and after the work was completed, assisted in the interior furnishings as well. We did a second project with her as well. We added a laundry room that is the envy of my neighborhood. She designed and drew up all of the plans and worked well with all of the subs. Many friends have seen her work in my home and have hired her as well- both to help in structural changes as well as interior work. They all have been happy. I cannot recommend her highly enough. She is true to her word, very organized and keeps you informed throughout the project. These are rare qualities. I am happy to talk with anyone who has any questions. Thanks!”

“Our project, which took approximately 3 1/2 months from start to completion, included both a kitchen and basement remodel. Anchor Builders recommended that we use Fluidesign for our design work. Fluidesign did the layout and consulted with us on all phases of the project. They were available and helpful at every phase of construction. In addition to producing an excellent floor plan, they assisted with major and minor decisions including selection of appliances, cabinets, lighting fixtures, carpeting, paint colors, etc. All the options available would have been very overwhelming without their help. The design team was always attentive. Shelly and Carrie helped us transfer concepts into reality. They did so by listening to us and offering us choices that reflected our wishes and their excellent taste, We feel very confident in recommending their services to others.”

“I hired Hart's Design to design an addition to my home in Edina. This included a garage, workshop, master bath, roof deck, laundry/mudroom expansion. sunroom, and kitchen expansion. Admittedly, I am a very particular/difficult client. Generally, I am not satisfied with anyone I hire and usually consider it successful if the interaction does not end in the exchange of profanity. I know this about myself and tell people this prior to working with them. I have never offered to serve as a reference for any contractor or designer in the past. Robert was excellent. He took our ideas, added his expertise and brought it to life. He was responsive and timely and the rates were very reasonable. He delivered exactly what he said he would. I particularly liked that I could work with him to create a design/blueprints that we liked. I was then able to take these detailed plans and get bids from a number of contractors rather than being tied to a single design/build firm. This was some of the best money we spent on our addition. I would recommend Hart's Design without reservation.”

“We hired Andre' to design and do all the architectural work for our new home in Excelsior, MN. After meeting with numerous architects and builders, we decided that Andre' and Kurt Schwartz (Builder) were the best fit for us. After several meetings to discuss our vision we filled out an in depth Master Vision questionnaire and provided Andre' and Kurt our login to houzz.com so they could see what we liked about certain houses, rooms, colors, textures and finishes. When you combine the Master Vision questionnaire along with our houzz.com pictures, you get a pretty good feel for what we wanted in our new home. We think Andre' did an exceptional job of listening to what we wanted and going through all of the information we provided to create a remarkable home that we love! Between Andre' and Kurt Schwartz Builders they really did a great job of taking our vision and making it a reality. We would strongly recommend both Andre' and Kurt to anyone looking to remodel or build their dream home!”
