“After having seen several projects, residential and commercial, McLelland Architecture had completed, we decided to go with the expertise of Jon McLelland. What attracted me most were innovative ideas, an interest in sustainability and LEED, and the proven talent to combine older historical buildings with a touch of modern. We received expert drawings, as well as great recommendations for our residential kitchen remodel, a major undertaking in an older home that required the removal of load bearing walls and complete reconfiguration of the space. McLelland Architecture provided fantastic services, and we would hire them again in a heart beat - highly recommended!”

John is professional, responsive and has a great eye for the beauty and functionality of a completed project. He has been at our side throughout the entire process giving us overall guidance both by making recommendations and just listening. “My husband and I consulted with Tim Barron on a renovation/addition for our home. Tim answered all of our questions and discussed several options for the renovation/addition. He solved problems we couldn't figure out on our own. For example, he suggested moving a wall to avoid having a hallway we didn't want. He also sketched a window design that would allow more natural light to flow into our home. While we ultimately decided it was best to purchase a new home, we have no doubt his design would have exceeded our expectations. If we ever need an architect, Tim will be the first person we call.”

“James Wagnon built a house for us in 1996. We are building another house this fall (2017) and James will be our builder. "Honest, reliable, and knowledgeable" are the reasons we called James when we decided to build another house. We did not have a reason to talk with any other builders before calling James. We know we will be treated with respect and have a quality built house.”
