Founded in 1981 CCD Chartered Architects is an industry leading, award winning, architectural design practice based in Guernsey in the Channel Islands.
The majority of our work over the last 35 years has been in Guernsey and the surrounding islands of the Bailiwick; we do undertake projects further afield in the UK and EU, usually as the result of repeat clients or recommendations, and are always open to any challenges of this kind.
As a practice our ethos is summed up simply as being the best of Old & New. We have a large and varied portfolio of work, encompassing cutting edge contemporary design through to pure conservation projects, from individual pieces of bespoke furniture through to the largest buildings on the island.
We have won many design awards over the years both for our work on contemporary architecture as well as historic and conservation projects, in the domestic, ecclesiastical, commercial and medical sectors. Few practices in the Channel Islands or indeed UK can boast such a broad spectrum of design experience and professional knowledge, we are very proud of our achievements to date and are now looking ahead to the next 30 years of success.
