GOATER JONES is a London based Architectural Practice established 2009 by Jonathan Goater BSc(Hons) DipArch ARB RIBA. Jonathan is a fully qualified Chartered Architect with 16 years architectural experience in residential properties. The small, friendly practice has a committed and talented team who are dedicated to providing high quality architectural services, always listening carefully to the project brief and requirements and to use their expertise to provide the best solutions. Goater Jones were the perfect fit for our Sands End project. Their detailed knowledge of the local planning considerations were incredibly helpful in enabling us to maximise the potential of the project. As we moved in to the build phase they were always on hand to assist and make any required adjustments along the way as well as offer up their suggestions for various items and supplies. They were great guys to work with and I would not think twice about engaging them again in the future.

John has been instrumental with my Sands End, Fulham conversion. He and his team have designed the rennovation from the start, providing drawings, plans and great solutions to the many details needed. He has a great range of industry contacts who know him and have worked with him in the past and who after his introduction have come up with money saving/ efficient ideas and materials. He has been easy to get hold of, always quick to come on-site or provide details when needed at the last minute (his office is conveniently located on Wandsworth Bridge Rd) and is a charm to work with. His office is a great place to sit down and collaborate. He goes the extra without undue charging in my experience. Couldn't recommend him and his nice team enough. Has a really good 3D rendering software with an expert at the helm which made visualising my project much easier in the early stages as well.

John and his team have been great to work with. Very knowledgeable, helpful, patient and professional with fantastic communication skills to cope with us and our complex loft conversion. They have been great at taking us through the entire process (from feasibility research to planning submission) and spending a lot of time with us through zoom and in person discussing best options, and always happy to look/explore different options and come up with alternative solutions. Highly recommend!

We can’t recommend John and his team at Goater Jones highly enough! We’ve used them on two projects. One was a full transformation including rewiring, structural changes and decoration. The second was a loft extension. John is passionate and energetic. He’s a pleasure to be around and helped in all levels of the building work from navigating the planning process, to securing all finishes (e.g. bathtubs, ironmongery, surface material) to managing the contracting strategy and builders. Thanks Goater Jones for making our house a home!

John and his team quickly provided us with a range of options for the full refurbishment and extension of our house. The level of support was exactly what we were hoping for and we received planning approval without any significant alteration to the design. Overall very happy with the quality of the work done by John and his team with no addition/modification to the design pack required throughout the build. Would happily recommend to others !

Professional and good advice. Very good negotiation and drawing skills. Kind consideration, patient and flexible. Planning is always difficult but with the right team and positive, patient attention results can be achieved. The government post COVID are pushing for changes in the planning process. We have no hesitation in recommending this firm for any architectural schemes and services. This company and team are well informed and positioned to be in the heart of this process. G.
