About Us

HUB Architects and Designers is an RIBA Chartered Practice and BIID Design Practice Member. We are currently a team of 10 Architects and Designers. We are London based but happy to work across the UK. We specialise in Residential, Education and Cultural sectors with specific interest in planning in sensitive sites, Conservation and Green Belt Areas. We offer a full design service from Feasibility to Final Completion with an emphasis on construction detailing informing our design at every stage of the process.

Chris Turrell

HUB Architects have worked on our house over the past decade, initially with advice on Interior Design. Recently HUB have undertaken Architectural work resulting in gaining positive Planning Approval to reconfigure our house into 2 units with a large glass rear extension - an unprecedented planning gain for the area. Over the years Kate, Simon and the team at HUB have provided us with a very good service, interesting ideas and successful solutions. They are highly recommended. Eva and Chris Turrell

I have worked with HUB Architects (Kate Spence) on 4 central London high end apartments. I regard myself as a demanding but organised client. I have been very pleased with Kate's work and a her practical approach to design and detail. She definitely understands the London central market for £1m+ properties in my opinion. In addition she has a great team and all of her suppliers have been well researched and tested out. All of this reduces stress and builds confidence. Kate is an owner manager and I think this shows in her work - she has grit when needed to resolve issues as well as knowledge of latest products and great design. For £1m+ properties I would recommend HUB highly.
