JMP Architects are an award winning RIBA Practice with more than 3 decades of experience. Based in Lancaster, we work all over the North West and our work is centred in Lancashire, Cumbria and the Yorkshire Dales. Occasionally we branch out further afield with projects in north Wales, Kent, Northumberland and Dumfries and Galloway,. We are a design led practice with a focus on imaginative, sensitive, contemporary and sustainable designs and an emphasis on design development, client relationships and realisation of works on site. We have a broad portfolio consisting of the design of educational buildings, residential schemes, both private and commercial, student housing, leisure, commercial and healthcare. We also have experience in working with historic and listed buildings in collaboration with Historic England, Historic Scotland and experienced conservation consultants. All our projects have a sustainable ambition to achieve high levels of energy performance, longevity of building life, adaptability for future proofing and robustness of materials. We are able to offer Passivehaus modelling and design through our in house Certified Passivehouse Designer. Our staff turnover is low, ensuring our work benefits from continuity and cumulative practice experience.
