Architects in Morley, West Yorkshire

“We decided to work with Davey Stone for the design of an extension and kitchen/dining room renovation for our house, and we're really pleased that we chose them as our architects as we've been thoroughly impressed from the beginning. From the first meeting, Spencer showed real enthusiasm for our project and has made a daunting project feel exciting and very possible! Spencer, Alex and Molly have been highly professional and helpful, confidently guiding us through the whole process so far - which was appreciated as we've never done a house renovation before and felt quite overwhelmed by it all. We felt assured that our ideas and preferences were listened to, but at the same time they proposed a range of other ideas too, meaning our final design reflects just what we'd envisioned, but better! Furthermore, they helpfully sorted the planning application on our behalf, linked us up with a structural engineer and pointed us to builders so we've always been clear on the next steps - this coordination has been much appreciated. We'd wholeheartedly recommend Davey Stone - thank you Spencer, Alex and Molly!”

“We recently used Studio J Architects Ltd for a very ambitious project at our property and I genuinely cannot recommend them highly enough, especially James. From the very beginning, James was professional, approachable, patient and incredibly knowledgeable. What stood out most to me was that he was never pushy at any stage. He took the time to listen carefully to every idea, requirement and concern I had, no matter how many times I came back with changes, questions or new thoughts. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble. My vision was to create a large double-storey garage building in the rear garden of my property — something I honestly thought would either be impossible or face endless objections and complications. The proposed building actually had a larger footprint than the host property itself, so naturally I expected major challenges with planning. However, James carefully designed the scheme in such an intelligent and professional way that he managed to overcome all the potential issues before they even became problems. The end result was absolutely incredible — planning permission approved first time round. That alone says everything about the level of thought, experience and attention to detail that went into the design and submission. James made what felt like an overwhelming and stressful process seem straightforward and easy from start to finish. Communication throughout was excellent, pricing was fair and transparent, and the overall service felt extremely professional from day one. You can tell James genuinely cares about getting the best possible outcome for his clients rather than simply producing drawings and moving on. He really understood the vision I had and turned it into something achievable. If you are considering any form of architectural work, planning application or ambitious project, I would strongly recommend speaking with Studio J Architects. Thanks to James, what started as a dream idea is now becoming a reality. An outstanding experience all round.”

“Working with our architect was an absolute pleasure. Eloise was punctual, professional, and incredibly patient, taking the time to really listen to our ideas and vision. The entire process was explained clearly from the start and we were kept fully informed throughout, which gave us great confidence. The creativity of our plans truly stood. We were presented with four different design concepts, each carefully thought through to maximise flow and practicality within the home. We felt heard, supported, and inspired throughout the project and would highly recommend the team at Orange Designs to everyone. Thank you”
