About Us

Offset Architects is an award winning RIBA Chartered Architectural Practice. We combine creative design solutions, honest practical advice and close relationships with clients to generate successful projects. From small family home extensions through to demolition and rebuilding of large properties, we enjoy working on a wide range of project scopes and sizes. We also pride ourselves on working to create your dream home using your vision and incorporate your style, we have no predetermined “house style”. Often our projects involve conservation work, heritage homes and close liaising with planning consultants. With a wide range of experience, our four directors established Offset Architects in 2009 and it has now grown to be a busy, successful practice in Wrotham Heath, Kent. I engaged Rob Colley of Offset Architects to create plans for a new development of Luxury Apartments. Rob created a commercial ,professional pack which was outstanding in achieving the brief ,while respecting the environment and local restrictions. The process to achieve planning was supported at all stages by Offset and I cannot recommend their professional services highly enough. Liz A

Rob Ranson and the team have done a terrific job securing planning permission for my major house extension in a conservation area. They fulfilled every aspect of the brief, which included significantly increasing the square footage without creating oversize rooms or lengthy corridors, and maintaining the character of the inside of the house whilst making the outside more attractive. They were always available, delivered to their projected timescales and are thoroughly pleasant to work with.

The project involved a complete redesign and rebuild of a bungalow into a beautiful cottage. The design retained the charm and character of the original building whilst providing the wow factor of large light filled living spaces, ideal for modern family living. I am frequently complemented on what a fabulous transformation the cottage has undergone, even from complete strangers. The cost of services and the timetable were made very clear and went according to plan. I was always kept up to date and responded to promptly and received good professional advice.
