“I have recently started working with Simon on a variety of schemes with commercial and domestic clients. What stands out to me is the ability to convey information in a very easy to understand manner, particularly helpful for domestic clients who are not familiar with plan information. Also, the time spent explaining design decisions in response to the client brief is very helpful. Combining high quality architecture with a helpful and responsive approach is rare. As individual professionals we work very well as a project team to deliver a scheme and I have found Simon very easy to work with. I would highly recommend working with Simon.”

“In my role as heritage consultant, I have worked with Workshop Collaborative on many projects affecting listed buildings and conservation areas, each of which has demanded great sensitivity and understanding. Unfortunately, many architects lack these qualities when working with historic buildings and sites; yet time and again, Workshop Collaborative have shown that they are able to strike the right balance of innovation and respect for the past. On all these jobs I’ve been impressed by the time spent really getting to know each place, their fresh, creative, tailor-made design process, their ability to understand wider context, and the attention to detail and craftsmanship manifest in their work. Currently, we are working on the conversion of an impressive group of listed farm buildings into residential accommodation.”

“We engaged Gavin, Sarah and team to help us build a country home. The project took four years from purchase of land to completion and ended up being bigger and more complex than we ever imagined. Right from the start the Woodford team were responsive, engaged and focused on delivering a home that met our requirements. Most importantly they really cared about the project and, right to its conclusion, their attention to detail was second to none. They make a truly great team - with Gavin‘s focus on overall design and Sarah‘s interior expertise - they have helped us build and fit out a really awesome holiday home. In any project of this size I will always be challenges and problems that arise. the Woodford team what excellent at Working through the challenges in partnership with us, making the project a pleasure rather than a burden. We would recommend the Woodford team for any complex, unique or important project. They are consummate professionals and have delivered at the highest levels.”
