“We recently worked with Ben on the drawings for our new-build project and have been very happy with the experience. From the outset, he listened carefully to our requirements and translated them into plans that reflected what we hoping to achieve. The drawings were clear and accurate. One of the specialists involved in the project commented on how good the drawings were, which gave us extra confidence in the quality of his work. Ben was very supportive during the planning application process and guided us through each stage, helping us provide the council with extra documents and information they requested and proactively chased progress to keep things moving. He has been consistently polite, approachable and genuinely helpful throughout the process. Beyond the core design work, he also offered valuable support by recommending other specialists needed for the project and when required has provided additional drawings to meet their needs. Overall, we have been extremely impressed with both his professionalism and his ongoing support. We would not hesitate to recommend him and would certainly use his services again for future projects.”

“We had the pleasure of working with John Crawley on the renovation and complete reimagining of our home layout in Forest Gate; East London, and the experience exceeded every expectation. From the outset, John showed a remarkable ability to truly listen. He paid close attention to what we needed as a family and translated those needs into a design that feels both functional and inspiring. His thoughtful approach ensured that every part of the space was tailored to how we actually live, not just how it might look on paper. One of the standout moments of the project was John’s ingenious solution for the whole house staircase—a challenging element that he handled with confidence and creativity. The result is not only a striking architectural feature but also a seamless integration into the overall flow of the home. What impressed us most is how naturally everything comes together. The layout feels intuitive, open, and connected, with each room transitioning beautifully into the next. It’s clear that John has an exceptional eye for spatial planning and detail. Throughout the process, John’s communication was excellent. He kept us informed, was always available to answer questions, and made us feel involved every step of the way. His professionalism and calm, collaborative style made the renovation experience far less stressful than we expected. We couldn’t be happier with the outcome and would absolutely recommend John Crawley to anyone looking for an architect who combines creativity with practicality and genuinely cares about delivering a space that works for you”
