Studio AVC is an architecture and interior design firm which offers a tailored and creative approach to help deliver exciting and innovative designs. We aim to design buildings with a minimum impact on the environment and our ambition is to promote a strong sustainable ethic. As a small business, our strength is in nurturing creativity and personal service, consistent with an ethos that “small is beautiful”. We consider ourselves to be imaginative and we push standards to be conceptual and creative. The practice is based at Merton Abbey Mills in London and led by Ayca Vural-Cutts. Ayca qualified in architecture and has 20 years post-qualification experience. After working in architectural and senior design roles at Foster + Partners and Zaha Hadid Architects, she set up Studio AVC in 2013. Ayca Vural-Cutts also provides design consultancy on large-scale projects and is a member of Merton Council and Wandsworth Council’s Design Review Panel for Wandsworth and Richmond. She also writes monthly articles for international architectural magazines and teaches interior design at South Thames College. With a background in interior design and architecture, she brings a holistic approach to building design.
