Prior to work commencing on-site, Studio Jayga met with our chosen builders to brief them in detail. Studio Jayga visited the site as agreed, checking the builders were working to the plans and provided guidance as and when needed. They acted as a “check” on the builders, making sure corners weren’t cut and the work was carried out to a high standard. Where we incurred “problems” with the original plan, Studio Jayga were quick to offer alternative solutions which stayed true to the original vision. We were able to make use of Studio Jayga’s connections with various suppliers, resulting in a huge cost saving (of thousands of pounds). Studio Jayga and my architect Mahdi did an exceptional job with my home. The design was beautiful and innovative. He really took onboard what I told him in our consultation regarding how we use the space and what we needed. He was able to find space in my very small house that I did not know existed, resulting in extra bathrooms and an additional bedroom. He achieved this through very clever use of space that I would not have thought possible. Mahdi has been and continues to be supportive, proactive and informative throughout the build. Madhi worked with me on a full renovation project, where the house hadn't been lived in for quite some time and needed gutting. The house was not your typical townhouse, with split levels between the font and back of the house. We had hoped to try and make an open plan approach but due to the structure and organisation it seemed of the question. However, along came Madhi. He envisaged the house as airy and open but also opened our imagination the possibilities due to the quirkiness of the house and split levels. In the end he designed something, which created open plan living in key areas, opened up staircase to create lots of light and helped us to create a different experience as each level of the house. But what I also loved about Madhi is that he kept builders in check. Each time they tried to cut corners he called them out and helped to project manage it well. He also kept us in line as well. Some of the design ideas or spacial positioning of things we hadnt really thought of, but he was great at explaining the pros and cons and furnishing that might work. The overall result was amzing. Not only do we love it, but all friends and family who came to visit.

The team at Studio Jayga Architects have been amazing throughout our project. Mahdi has consistently gone above and beyond what we were expecting and always managed to come up with a plan to achieve what we have in our minds. The team have been friendly, enthusiastic and professional since day 1. Mahdi at Studio Jayga was our architect for a loft conversion with a dormer and reconfiguring almost our entire humble home from what was classed as a 2 bed mid terraced house that had a small shower room…to a 4 bedroom home with a new shower room PLUS a family sized bathroom with a freestanding style bath tub! Looking at Studio Jayga’s impressive portfolio we were not sure if our project would be given as much time and attention to detail but we had nothing to worry about. From clear, accurate drawings, helping us find a structural engineer, to helping us novice figure out things like where lights could be strategically placed or walls moved to maximise on the space available to help unlock the true potential of our home - nothing seemed too much. It was a daunting project as my husband and I have no experience of renovating but Studio Jayga gave us confidence that our project was in good hands. Mahdi made regular site visits to ensure the build ran to plan and checked with us along the way if we were happy with the work so far. He came across as extremely conscientious and hard working. He was always punctual and promptly answered questions we messaged him. This we found was very important during what was a very stressful time. When we were unsure if the bathroom fittings and tiles we had chosen would clash, he suggested his team model it up so we could actually visualise it all rather than try and imagine it in our heads. This was amazing as we got to see our bathroom as it would be with our chosen items and make changes before we actually bought things and realised they would not look good together! Studio Jayga’s service was second to none and we look forward to using them again when we have our kitchen extended. Very happy to recommend.

I cannot recommend Studio Jayga Architects enough for assisting us in designing our kitchen extension. Initially we were very confused as how to best utilise the current and new space but Mahdi was on hand to draw up various different options for us which helped us really visualise the space. The drawings themselves were of excellent quality with great detail which ultimately helped us in reaching the right decision. He went the extra mile in guiding us in areas that proved to be challenging from planning applications with the local council to structural plans with the engineer. It was a seamless service from start to finish and made us really appreciate the hard work and effort that he put in. Additionally Mahdi was always on hand to answer any questions as the build progressed and clearly explained away any jargon to ensure we had a clear understanding of what was required. We are currently using his services for our loft conversion and have no doubt he will deliver an excellent service yet again.

Starting our very first renovation of our home - a large kitchen extension including a side extension for our dining room and major internal reconfiguration was very daunting for us but also extremely exciting at the same time! Our friends, who were previous clients of Studio Jayga recommended us to arrange an initial consultation. We were impressed with the projects they had carried out. Not only were their designs amazing visually, but it was clear the level of skill, detail and dedication that must have gone into each and every one of them. When we first contacted Mahdi (director of Studio Jayga), he was approachable, friendly and very competent so we automatically felt at ease. When he initially visited our site, he gave us a detail explanation of everything we would need to expect or consider. We have employed Studio Jayga for a number of residential projects following the successful purchase of my first home years ago. As a jewellery designer, I have great attention to detail and was pleased that this was taken through, into our homes. The support and guidance from Mahdi (The director of Studio Jayga) made everything worthwhile and we have continued to work on subsequent projects together. Studio Jayga Having met with a number of high end architects to do the plans for reconfiguring the ground floor of our house to create an open plan kitchen, garage conversion with utility room and downstairs cloakroom, we decided to go with Mahdi at Studio Jayga. From the very first meeting it was apparent to us that not only was he the best value for money but his eye for detail was second to none. Our project took a long time for completion (simply down to both my husband and I working), however Mahdi stayed with us for the duration- over a year! He was always at the end of the phone whenever we needed to discuss ideas- there are many times when we FaceTimed so that he could look at the project and offer solutions to problems that we couldn’t have overcome ourselves. He also regularly made on-site visits to ensure everything was going to plan. He even provided ideas for our bathroom restructure which wasn’t included in the job. Architects usually do the plans, take the fee and that is where it stops. Studio Jayga provided so much more than that. Mahdi was with us throughout, sourcing builders, materials and giving design ideas. I am very fussy and the level of detail and design ideas provided by Mahdi was faultless. There’s a saying that “if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is”, but with Mahdi and Studio Jayga this was not the case. I couldn’t recommend him highly enough- in fact I have recommended him to a number of friends and colleagues.
